Is there anywhere that someone can procure Valdecoxib? I have had a source up until now and it is since unavailable. It is absolutely the best medication for spinal cord injuries and/or chronic pain, of which I have both. I cannot tolerate any of the others or they just don't do the trick. Any help, please?! My pediotrist put me on 375 mg. of naproxin....it has relieved my arthritic pain 90%...can one stay on this drug very long???? I would like to stay on it forever!! since they took vioxx off the mkt. I am in constant pain. Thanks Addie ## My mother has been on this for years and now has kidney problems. Her kidney is only working 28% which is very bad. I would talk to my Dr. about taking this for any length of time. ## NSAIDS taken over long periods of time can be dangerous. For arthritis one can take glucosamine and tart cherries (Montmorency Cherries) which have natural anti-inflammatory properties.

pink round pill/tablet? approx 1cm diam. ## It was prescribed to me as an anti-inflammatory tablet. I have tendonitis in my right shoulder joint. There is a lot of inflammation in the joint, and LPC I 400 was prescribed to me to have one tablet, three times a day, for two weeks. It is to both ease the pain and reduce inflammation of the joint.

This tablet contains 500mgs of Naproxen Sodium, a generic for Naprosyn, this is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. ## So it can be used as a pain reliever for menstral cramps tho. I took it lastnight .. helped my cramps, and stiff muscles ## Yes, NSAIDs are often prescribed for menstrual cramps. I want to know the side effects.. ## We have a full monograph available on our site, but the correct spelling of the name is Voltaren. This is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory containing Diclofenac Sodium.

peach color ## It's a non-steroid anti-inflammatory. It's in the same drug class as Advil, Motrin, Aleve, Orudis. It is usually prescribed to take every 8 to 12 hours, unless it's the extended-release version which gets taken once a day. Good idea is to take with food or milk, it can be rough on the tummy. I used it for all-over aches with fibromyalgia and it worked well. My fibro has lessened so now I just take Advil as needed. I took the same dose, 50mg, but a doctor MAY prescribe a higher dosage if you don't get releif from the dose he/she starts you at. You want to take as low a dose as possible (in my unprofessional opinion) because like other drugs in this class, long term use can lead to stomach bleeding. I was wondering if taking Prednisone can cause weight gain? why can tyou take it with alcohol ## I am assuming the drug you are referring to is Prednisone. Alcohol with enhance the side effects of almost all prescription drugs, creating worse problems for you than if you were taking the drug by itself.

Loding 400Mg twice daily. Primarily for osteoarthritis. Also relieves pain of bone spurs and bursitis. Take with food. Very effective. ## Lodine is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, it does work great for some people, whose pain is caused by inflammation.

off white pill oval i found theses pills in my childs room and i need to knoe what they are thank you ## its naproxen...just a painkiller...it can be abused like any other medicine but as far as getting high or drowsy it doesnt affect the brain at all...i got some for my back aches and a female friend of mines had it prescribed for her menstrual cramps i believe ## This is a prescription strength of Naproxen though, 500mgs. So if they do not have a valid prescription for it, then having it is illegal.
