Naproxin Regular Use?

My pediotrist put me on 375 mg. of naproxin....it has relieved my arthritic pain 90%...can one stay on this drug very long???? I would like to stay on it forever!! since they took vioxx off the mkt. I am in constant pain.

My mother has been on this for years and now has kidney problems. Her kidney is only working 28% which is very bad. I would talk to my Dr. about taking this for any length of time.

NSAIDS taken over long periods of time can be dangerous. For arthritis one can take glucosamine and tart cherries (Montmorency Cherries) which have natural anti-inflammatory properties.
