Amphetamines False Positive Drug Test (Page 2)

I have somehow tested positive for amphetamine but the only drug that I touch Is marijuana. How is this possible? It was a urine test done in a hospital.

The samething just happen to me! I don't take anything that has amphetamine in it I tested positive 2 times this year at my suboxone doctors office. I'm so upset because they are putting me on probation. I asked my pharmicist what could have caused it an he said cold meds!

There is only one way to stop this madness. If you are truly innocent, and not taking any illegal drugs, refuse the urin test, and tell them that you are willing to take the gas chronatography- mass spectrometry test. Do this by sending this to the hospital computer before you go in to have your baby. Keep the electronic records.then make sure upon admission that the doctors and nurses are aware of it.

Not true!!!! All I do is smoke weed and CPS tested me today and I failed for amphetamines when I've only smoked weed and taken my prescribed subutex....

I'm on methadone maintenance programme and frequently get tested for everything.. A few months ago in my old city I tested positive for Ritalin - I asked for a re-test within 24 hours which came back negative, and I was believed. But, the same thing happened last week, my result came back positive for amphetamines, and they weren't able to get hold of me in time for me to do a re-test.. Now I've gotten in major trouble for taking something that I HAVEN"T TAKEN! I've heard that Fluoxetine (which I'm on) and Iboprofen (which I do take occasionally) can both trigger a false positive, has anyone else had this?

Hello I lost my job because positive in amphetamine I dnt do drug and I am a bus driver I had pills yo lose weight and I got a pain in my stomach so I stop but I want to fight it cause it goin to go on my record I pay to do a drug test and it came out negative they want me to pay so they could re test the other dot of urine but it form the same urine so what should I do

Many weight loss pills actually are stimulant medications, aka amphetamines, so if you had been on this drug for several months, even just one month, it could still show up in a drug screen as it might not have been out of your system yet between when you stopped taking it for stomach problems & date of drug test.

The same has happened to me I've been in the suboxone program for 2yrs then all of a sudden my test came back for amphetamines/methamphetamine...never in my life have I done either I've even offered blood work! What can cause this to do such. I'm on BP med,allergie med,anxiety,prilosec,topomax was on verapimil but had him to take me off of it being he put me on topomax! I'm totally clueless myself & upset!!!

Hi I have to take a drug test tomorrow and I am stressing it because I have been taking cranberry bladder vitamins and AZO max pain because I just got done passing kidney stones and I am worried if its true about if you take azo and the dr trys to test you and finds out you have been taking azo if he will mark it as a positive drug screening. I am way to old to be trying to do any drugs I have 3 kids and a husband I dont need something like this over my head someone please let me know

I have just recently dropped dirty for amphetamines . I have no idea how . Now I'm being looked at like I'm some kind of addict . Point blank the questions asked are not being asneered DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT ALL OVER THE COUNTER MEDS CAN CAUSE A POSITIVE FOR AMPHETAMINE? BE SPECIFIC . Don't know where ya heard that love but there's plenty other meds that can cause false positive for methamphetamine, aside from over the counter psuedophedrine. I just went through it with my mom. Adapex or generically know as Phenteramine, not only will cause a false positive for methamphetamine but MDMA as well. You'd be surprised what you don't know about meds you take everyday and should do better research hun.

I tested positive for amphetamines and it turned out there was a methamphetamine lab below my apartment. You need to read up on second-hand methamphetamine. It can be very dangerous. Good Luck.

I have had my children removed because of an amphetamine addiction. Ive got 3 months to provide clean tests to qualify for a hair strand test WHICH will prove without doubt whether or not ive been clean since the court ordered this. I've literally got this ONE chance, there is no way I will f*** this up. The thing is I got a positive test last week? How the f*** has this happened? Ive got 2 toothbrushes, I used my 2 and 1, cud this be it?? I also take various energy tablets (proplus and energy kick), I also have old empty pop bottles in my bedroom I fill up with water for a drink in the night? could I have drank from 1 of those when I wasn't clean, filled it up with water and that's how it got in my system?? Can anybody PLEASE help me? I'm clean and I tested positive, wtf?? This is mine and my baby girls life. I desperately need to know how this could have happened?
