Hello, Please my sister was diagnise with kidney infection she is also suffering from back pain, can any one assit me with the best medication to buy for her, because doctor write amoxil for her she is still in pain and is a remote area we are staying, so I want sent for better drugs for her outside my area

Dentist suggests 500 mg. amoxicillin 4 tablets in one hour prior dental deep cleaning. Sounds like too much. I have some liquid amoxil in the fridge that was mixed in March of this year. Would it still be good? ## It's very doubtful, once mixed, the liquids are usually only good for about 7 to 10 days, then they should be disposed of properly. Didn't the pharmacy put an expiration date on it?

I have recently received 2 different positive results for cocaine and I've never used cocaine in my life. I was on antibiotics for 10 days I also use a tropical creme for pain would this cause the positive urine? I've never had this problem before. ## There is a slight, but very real possibility, that it was caused by an ingredient in the topical pain cream you were using. Do you know what it is called or what its ingredients are? Many of these contain Lidocaine or similar class anesthetics and they are all distantly related to Cocaine.

red and yellow capsule from Canada is supposed to be amoxil ## i would like to know what Amoxil 250g and Llagyl 400mg are used for. A condom was left inside me after having sex and went to the doctor and he took it out and gave me that medication. I would also like to know if its safe for me to take the morning after pill as i dnt wanna get pregnant

I've noticed that the pill has a disgusting odor, is that common? ## that is normal, when I took it it smelled horable but still talk to your doctor about it. ## Thanks Kristen, Yes, I did ask my doctor, he was somewhat non-commital. I read about the side effects of Amoxillin and now I am scared that they are going to happen. I've taken the drug since I was a baby, so should I still be scared? ## If you've taken it before then no. If you didn't have a alergic reaction before why should you have one now? no reason to worry! ## thank you sooooo much! ## Your body can change over the years, so there is always the chance of a reaction from a drug that arises suddenly and unexpectedly, no matter how many times you have taken it before. I have found from past use of antibiotics that my digestion suffers. I have used probiotics to help with the problem and am wondering if and how you recomend taking probiotics with Amoxil. ## your not really supposed to take other things with the drug.talk to your doctor about your digestion problems ## Now a post from back in February. You really are into the antibiotic posts. Yes, some things you take can effect how well a drug works for you, so you shouldn't take anything, even over the counter items, without consulting your doctor or pharmacist.

Can you drink alcohol while taking this medication? ## I'm not that sure, but I wouldn't take the chance. talk to your doctor ## Since alcohol is a blood thinner, it will effect how fast the drug moves through and then out of your body, making it so you might not receive the correct dosage, for instance, if you are supposed to take 2 a day, but you drink alcohol, you could end up with a med that lasts only 9 or 10 hours, instead of the 12 it should, which could affect how the drug works for you. This can also vary depending on how much alcohol you drink and your own metabolism, so it is always better to stay away from it when you are on a prescription medication.

Can I crush my non-chewable amoxicillin pills and put them in orange juice? Do you know if it will be as effective? I hate swallowing pills. ## Well if pills are not extended release than maybe crushing wont make any differnce. Because it would dissolve. I think a doctor should know this one. ## Actually you can do this with a pill if you wish, as long as it isn't a time released, delayed, or extended release version. However, be careful what juice you take it with, as grapefruit juice can affect the efficacy of some meds. However, as I said, you can take regular pills any way you wish, as long as they aren't a controlled release version, some people have trouble swallowing pills and hospitals and personal care homes routinely crush them for people who need to do that. ## On a f...

I recently took amoxillian for a sinus infection---this was not strong enough to cure. My doctore prescribe me Augmentin---within 20 minutes I was dizzy, weak & vomiting. This went on for 2 hours plus----until I passed out & no longer had anything left in my stomach. I have strained my neck, broke blood vessels in my eye and feel like I was ran over. Can you tell me if this product has any sulfur or condiene in it. I am highly allergic to both of these drugs. Thanks for any info you can give.
