can i give mox 250 for my son aged 23 for dry cough. he is also having very slight fever for the last 3 days. ## Hi. Hi my name is Joelle, I am 6 weeks pregnant.. my 1st infection (vaginal) started 1 week back..I had high fever so the next I started amoxicllin 500 twice daily and panadol one tablet every 6 hours.. after few days started another infection (sinus) I was using the amoxicillin and panadol one tab every 4 hours as recomended but because the cough got worst the Dr. Advised me today to take 1000mg three times daily and panadol 2 tabs every 3hours.. How long does it take for Amoxicillin to start to work? I am taking 500mg 3X a day. It's been 2 full days since I started Amoxicillin. I have a gum infection and I'm in extreme pain! I see both nyquil and amoxicillin have acetaminophen. I take amoxicillin once daily for hip pain. I have very bad cold and need a Nyquil. Can I take it. I've taken 30 amoxicillin and an entire z pack for my tooth abscess bit still having ALOT of pain, some swelling and still cannot open my jaw far enough for my dentist to extract the tooth, it's been 2 weeks now and though some relief it's still pretty bad! I have been prescribed teva 3109, which is Amoxicillin 500mg (for a tooth infection) & I can't swallow the pills.
