Can amlodipine 5mg, losartan 100mg, hydrochlorothiazide 25mg and atorvastatin 10mg be taken together, being they are all high blood pressure meds? Thanks for any info. ## Hello ,Tatis! How are you? Atorvastatin actually isn't a blood pressure medication, it is used to help lower cholesterol. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and joint/muscle aches. As to the others, they are used to help lower blood pressure and multiple medications are often prescribed to help lower blood pressure as fast and safe as possible, generally, once it is down, some medications can be removed, as directed by your doctor. The FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. I...

I have been taking concur 5 mg for the past 8 years due to having fast heart beat. For a month I started to drink 3 cups of coffee and smoking 2 small cigars all that in the evening during 3 hours time. I felt my heart beats are getting to be high then I started taking 10 mg every day. I stopes the habit of taking too much coffee and smoking at the same time then I also stopped taking 10 mg and went back to 5 mg. But since one week now my BP is getting too high above 145/85. And never below 136/80 during the day at resting time. I never had a history of high BP. My BP was always 120/80 or below. Please advise. Thank you. ## Concor AM contains Amlodipine and Bisoprolol, it is used to treat cardiovascular diseases such as high blood pressure. As a side effect, it can also lower your heart...

Just wanted to comment here. I have the same problem with my blood pressure when going into Dr office. My blood pressure rises with the mention.."Now, let's get your blood pressure." It rises by thinking..."it's gonna be high, I just know it!" And it is. Way higher than when I take it at home. It is soooo situational. I can see I need the am lodi pine I take. My readings are 140 over 90 at high end and 124 over 80 at low end. You, obviously understand the med world better than I, but could you explain the benefits of Co Q10 for me? If it will be a benefit for me, I want on it. ## There is an issue called White Coat Syndrome, and it does result in elevated blood pressure readings when people go to the doctor. I experience it myself, whenever I see a new doctor for...

After many years on Lisinopril Hydrochlorothiazide my doctor switched me to a combination of 50 mg of Metropolol with 10 mg Amlodipine. I was stage II hypertensive even on 40/25 of the Lisinopril with readings averaging 184/94. The new combination has lowered the BP to about 134/82 on average, but I constantly have this weird pressure in my head like it's going to explode. Not exactly a headache, but a weird pressure. And I just don't feel well. I've been on this for 2 weeks. Has anyone else ever experienced this? It doesn't really fit the listed side effects. It rather scares me. I asked the doc and she was stumped, told me to try for another week or so. ## Is there any way you can describe it more specifically? I'm sorry, but that is rather vague. I understand if y...

Please tell me if you can use this drug to help with detoxing from opiates? Would it help with restless leg syndrome and other symptoms? ## Hi Scott, From what I could gather, a round white pill with G 1540 on one side and 10 on the other is reportedly identified as Amlodipine besylate 10mg made by Greenstone Ltd. This particular medication is marketed for use in treating high blood pressure, cardiovascular related ailments and even migraines. However, I don't know if these are some of the conditions you might face while coming off of opiates... And personally, I haven't heard of it anyone using it for this purpose. amlodipine 10 mg. I was put on this for periodic high blood pressure but I still feel some hypertension from time to time during the day. I am only on it about a week or so, and I see it takes 4-6 weeks to take full effect. Is this a minor side effect or a bad one and does it go away or does it mean this med is no good for me or too early to tell? ## Are you talking about the hypertension during the day? Are you actually checking your blood pressure at those times to be sure? There aren't usually any symptoms felt from high blood pressure, which is why it is often called the silent killer. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

Small round white pill. 236 on one side and 16 on the other ## Are you absolutely sure of the imprint? I can find nothing with that imprint in what you describe. There are 236 and 286 imprint pills but nothing with 16, IP, ip, etc. I don't believe they are from the U.S. Since the imprint doesn't match the U.S. Ones. Wish I could help more. I tried just looking at the 236 but still didn't find much. None I found were a narcotic, that's for sure, but that doesn't mean they are safe! ## Is is possible that the imprint is IG 238?
