Blood Pressure Skyrockets At Dr. Office

Just wanted to comment here. I have the same problem with my blood pressure when going into Dr office. My blood pressure rises with the mention.."Now, let's get your blood pressure." It rises by thinking..."it's gonna be high, I just know it!" And it is. Way higher than when I take it at home. It is soooo situational. I can see I need the am lodi pine I take. My readings are 140 over 90 at high end and 124 over 80 at low end.

You, obviously understand the med world better than I, but could you explain the benefits of Co Q10 for me? If it will be a benefit for me, I want on it.

There is an issue called White Coat Syndrome, and it does result in elevated blood pressure readings when people go to the doctor. I experience it myself, whenever I see a new doctor for the first time, or if I end up in the ER.

The FDA warns that Amlodipine might cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, dizziness, hypotension, and increased urination.

How often do you check at home? And under what situations?

As to Co Q10, it has not been proven to really do anything. However, it is available over the counter in most stores.
