My father has diabetes and he need to take Amlo Drnk 5 to reduce blood pressure, but he turns to have swollen feet. What should he do? Which medicine can he use instead of this medicine.

This contains the active ingredient Amlodipine, which is a calcium channel blocker and it can cause this type of peripheral edema as a side effect in some people that take it.

How severe is the edema?
