Friend gives 2 pills got 50 deep etched into one side and nothing on the other. I was told its a sleeping pill. It has a strange odour can't describe it. Probably 5 mm give or take. Looked all over with no answer. ## Turns out that is a prescription called Amitriptyline, brand Elavil. It's a tricyclic antidepressant. It affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced. I have just been prescribed AT for my chronic tension type headaches and currently take Cerezzete birth control pill. Does anyone know if the AT counteract the Cerezette? I have moved to Greece. I have had a Amitriptyline prescription for chronic nerve pain from the UK since 2006 until now. The Greek Pharmacy has given me ''Anafranil'', he has told me it is the same thing. Does anyone know if this is true? I am a little worried, I only use this at night and Tramadol during the day. Small pink capsule with DAN5003 written on both half's of the capsule. mixed in the same bottle same pink capsule with GG541. ## The GG 541 is listed as containing 75mgs of Amitriptyline, which is an antidepressant. However, I can't find any listing for the other one. Hello. I was prescribed amitriptyline 25mg for chronic migraines two years ago. I am trying to wean myself off it now and am finding the withdrawal symptoms awful. Palpitations are the worst. I found a small round blue pill with a cursive V on one side and 2101 on the other side. Blue round tablet. Does anyone know what makes up the blue coloring. I am allergic to yellow dye as it creates full body tremors. Hi , I am on lots of medication And take Amitryptiline 75 grammes nightly to help me sleep; somtimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I take cipralex for depression. Do they conflict? Re my GP and the Amitryptiline he said if you need 25g 50g 75g and so on, I asked will I get addicted? Course you will GP said, should be struck off, but what can you do, anyway that's my story.
