Where is the maker located? any comments on maker? CVS used to use MYLAN A, which was satisfactory to me, then recently switched to S900, which doesn't seem to work in my low dosage-max one/day. If I take .25 mg of xanax infrequently (ie:less than 1 or 2 per week) what is the incindence of arythmia and other side effects? I have had two instances of irregular heartbeat in the last month and was prescribed this drug for possible anxiety issues concerning these episodes. Low potassium and sudafed triggered first episode and no explanation for the second one. ## Hi, Annie! How are you? There's really no way to give you precise information on the incidence of them, but they are very rare, generally experienced by 1% or less of the people take it. Learn more Alprazolam details here. And taking it less frequently should, in theory, even further lower the chance of them occurring. From 2011 I have been taking Alzam 0.5 three times a day plus Zolpiderm 20mg per night and cilift 3 times a day. Now I am very sick and the second opinion is telling me that the Alzam has been destroyed my intelligence. What musxt I do? ## Hello, From what I've read, Alzam (Alprazolam) does have various side effects that, in my opinion, could be somewhat debilitating to certain individuals over a long period of time. I don't know to what extent you feel this may have affected your intelligence, but it sounds like your best bet would probably be to talk with your doctor about tapering off and considering other alternative treatment options that may be safer for long term use. I believe th...

Hello there, I have been taking 0,25mg of alzam each day for the past 2 years. I have now weened myself of them.(I have not taken any now for the past month). However, now I am feeling tired and burnt out.My joints are aching. I feel disorientated, light headed and giddy.I am also experiencing some slight cramping in my muscles. At times I feel panic stuck and feel that I may die.PLEASE can you give me some advice? Regards, Rodney Brown. ## The active ingredient in this is Alprazolam, a potent Benzodiazepine. That said, after having been on it for 2 years, everything you are experiencing is possibly from the withdrawal effects. That said, this site is not medical professionals, so you should consult a doctor to be certain that is all that is causing your problem, because such symptoms cou...

Small white round pill with a R on one side and 270 on the other. ## Based on the description provided, the closest match I'm finding is a white round pill marked with an "R" on one side and "027" sitting above a score line on the other side. You mentioned that the number was "270", so I can only guess that perhaps the imprint may have been misread? This particular pill is identified as Alprazolam (0.25 mg), also known as Xanax. Manufacturer: Actavis Alprazolam is primarily used to treat moderate to severe anxiety disorders (e.g., social anxiety disorder) and panic attacks, and is used as an adjunctive treatment for anxiety associated with moderate depression. I have heard that in some friends that as per the news paper articles published recently ANXIT has been banned i India. Honestly I have not personally read these articles, but one of the people who gave this information about the articles is my own elder sister who had earlier consulted a doctor who had prescribed Anxit for my Dad. Now the same sister advised us to STOP ANXIT as she had personally read the news about banning of ANXIT. Please advice whether this drug is safe for Dementia and Alzheimer Disease patients. ## I am based in India. Will Zolam 1.0 reduce blood pressure due to anxiety in the short term? ## Zolam (Alprazolam) is in a class of medications called benzodiazepines. These types of medications work by decreasing "abnormal excitement" within the brain. So it's possible that it may not have a direct effect on one's blood pressure, since that's not necessarily how it works. However from my own observation, if one is in a state of serenity or calmness, their blood pressure is also bound to follow suit, eventually reflecting lower levels. That's just my theory and I may be wrong, but it does make sense logically. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

does anybody know if those pills that are like tubes (not round) called zonax or sonax are benzo? like zanax? or like stavar as we in sweden call them, xanor2mg? thanks for any answer ## Based on my research, Zonax is listed as being manufactured by a company called "Sterling lab", who makes veterinary medications. However I haven't come across any other specific details on what it contains or actually looks like. On another note, I think you may have meant to say "Zolax" as opposed to "Zonax". Zolax just so happens to be an Indian brand of Alprazolam (generic xanax); manufactured by Intas Pharma (based in Gujarat, India). Is it possible that you may have just got the spelling wrong? I hope this info helps!

I too am a victim of Alprazolam from Caraco Sun Pharmaceuticals. It made me extremely sick. Itchy rash/hives, vomiting, bowels in an uproar...etc... I switched from CVS to Rite Aid ONLY for that specific med. This brand is from SANDOZ. Thought I was familiar with SANDOZ; WRONG!!! SANDOZ DOES NOT manufacture Alprazolam! They order it from Caraco Sun Pharmaceuticals!!!!!!!! Made me just as sick. The FDA & the drug companies DO NOT want doctors, pharmacies or consumers to know the truth! Also, the FDA does not have to moniter foreign drug companies. The drug companies have P.R. firms to make them look legit; The FDA is dumb enough to believe ANYTHING! They also get paid very well to approve anything & everything. It took days of digging & research to find the truth. Alprazolam ...
