Will Zolam 1.0 reduce blood pressure due to anxiety in the short term?

Zolam (Alprazolam) is in a class of medications called benzodiazepines. These types of medications work by decreasing "abnormal excitement" within the brain. So it's possible that it may not have a direct effect on one's blood pressure, since that's not necessarily how it works.

However from my own observation, if one is in a state of serenity or calmness, their blood pressure is also bound to follow suit, eventually reflecting lower levels. That's just my theory and I may be wrong, but it does make sense logically.

Anyone else have thoughts on this?
