Is it true that Respa AR is no longer being manufactured? When I went to Walmart to get my usual RX filled I was told it was no longer in production. ## That is correct. Respa-AR contained Belladonna Alkaloids, Chlorpheniramine and Pseudoephedrine. The problem stemmed from the fact that these were actually never FDA approved. Due to certain loopholes in the law, regarding drugs that were on the market, before the laws took effect, they were grandfathered in and were able to be sold for many years. However, recent crackdowns on such problematic drugs has enabled the FDA have them pulled from the market, if the manufacturer doesn't do full safety and efficacy studies, as is done for any other prescription medication. Both the Chlorpheniramine and the Pseudoephedrine are approved and t...

Looking for the original little green pill ## At this time, it is no longer being manufactured and sold in the U.S. by the manufacturer Schering-Plough. It's still available in Canada and a few other countries, but not anywhere in the U.S. So, you may be able to find a website to order it from. In case you want to look for an alternative medication, it contains the active ingredients Dexbrompheniramine and Pseudoephedrine, the latter of which is now only available from behind the counter at your pharmacy, so you'd have to ask them if they carry anything that contains both of them. It does not, however, require a prescription for purchase. Learn more Pseudoephedrine details here. Learn more Dexbrompheniramine details here. periactive to get some waigth ## EVERY TIME I GET SOMETHING TO EAT I CANT EAT . MY FRIEND GAVE ME SOME OF THESE PILL A LONG TIME AGO AND THEY HELP ME GOOD I NEED MY ON ## @Montana, Based on my research, Cyproheptadine, the main ingredient in Periactin, is actually an antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, sneezing, hives, and itching. However, Periactin (cyproheptadine) is a prescription medicine that is also given to people who need to gain weight. In order to gain weight in a healthy manner or without medication, I would suggest portioning out your meals every 2-3 hours (right around 6 meals per day). These meals should include natural nutrient dense foods with little to no empty calories, so you can get the most out of each ...

triamicinolone acetonide ## Was perscribed for nose bleeding. ## can i use kenacomb ointment to heal the wound inside my nose for 3 weeks now. thanks ## Hello, Triamcinolone acetonide ointment is used to treat a variety of skin conditions (e.g., eczema, dermatitis, allergies, rash). Triamcinolone reduces the swelling, itching, and redness that can occur in these types of conditions. This medication is a medium- to strong-potency corticosteroid. I have also heard of this being used in the nose for dryness and irritation. To use this medication: Apply a thin film of the medication to the affected area and gently rub in, usually 2 to 4 times daily or as directed by your doctor. Do not cover, bandage or wrap the area unless directed to do so by your doctor. Use this medication only on the s...

I am a 42 year old male that weighs 220 pounds!I want to know if i can take two Lodrane 24D capsules at the same time before bed? ## The usual dosage for Adults is 1 Capsule every 4-6 hours, and to not exceed 4 capsules within a 24 hour period. If it says you can't take more than 4 capsules within a 24hr period, then in my opinion, taking two capsules at once wouldn't be much different (based on relative dosing and the time gap in between). For your own safety I wouldn't recommend ignoring those dosing guidelines, because these medications can affect everyone differently. Have you tried any other allergy medications that might be more effective with a single dose?
