white,oval shaped with cpc 3400 written on it ## From what I've found, this is a medication that's used to treat cold symptoms, it contains Guaifenesin and Phenylephrine. Though I haven't found any information on what the dosage is of each ingredient. This medication may cause side effects in some people, such as nausea, dizziness, nervousness and insomnia. What is this ## its a cold pill, I have it in a blister pack. it has guaifensin 200mg & phenylephrine hcl 5mg for cough and runny nose. 2 pills for a dose ## Just to update, I am not sure if the contents of this tablet were different when this post was made in 2009, sometimes the formulation and ingredients are changed. Thus, I am just going to put in the information as currently listed in March of 2013 and the listings as of this date show this tablet as solely containing 400mgs of Guaifenesin, which is an expectorant that's used to treat cold symptoms. I was perscribed nasonex about a month ago. About a week after taking it I got really ill with flu luke symptoms. Atfer the aches and pains in the body went away ive been left with dizziness and bad headaches. I stopped taking it a week ago and still have these symptoms. I also had the odd spell of blurry vision but haven't had that since I stopped taking it. I want to know how long my head is going to feel scrambled like this. Due to certain loopholes in the law, regarding drugs that were on the market, before the laws took effect, they were grandfathered in and were able to be sold for many years. I am a 42 year old male that weighs 220 pounds!I want to know if i can take two Lodrane 24D capsules at the same time before bed? ## The usual dosage for Adults is 1 Capsule every 4-6 hours, and to not exceed 4 capsules within a 24 hour period. If it says you can't take more than 4 capsules within a 24hr period, then in my opinion, taking two capsules at once wouldn't be much different (based on relative dosing and the time gap in between). For your own safety I wouldn't recommend ignoring those dosing guidelines, because these medications can affect everyone differently. Have you tried any other allergy medications that might be more effective with a single dose?
