help with price of , tussionex ext-rel sus we live on social security and its costing us 60.00 for a 4 oz. bottle of the cough surup, can you help?? ## Hi, DD! How are you? I'm sorry, but this website does not manufacture, nor sell any medications and is not affiliated with any manufacturer, It is an information only website. The best suggestion I can make is that you talk to your pharmacist about it, there may be some discount cards that they accept that could save you money on prescriptions. They are usually free, some run by the state and some by independent companies and your pharmacist can help you discover how to enroll. The other alternative would be to talk to your doctor about prescribing a cheaper alternative. Does anyone else have any ideas or advice to add?

im always in alot of pain so i take trmadol for pain but i cant sleep at night so i need to take zzzquil but i dont know if it would be safe. ## Hi, Julie! How are you? The Diphenhydramine in the Zzzquil can cause elevated levels of Serotonin and so can the Tramadol, so it's best not to mix them, unless your doctor says it's okay for you to do so. If your serotonin level goes too high, you can develop serotonin syndrome, which can be fatal. Learn more Tramadol details here. Learn more Zzzquil details here. And FYI for anyone looking to save some money, Diphenhydramine is the same ingredient in Benadryl and the store brand/generic equivalents, so you actually don't have to pay the price for this one. Updated in Allegrawhat does PU and NKA mean on a prescription?. The pharmacy I gave my written prescription to to get filled gave it back to me and told me I needed to wait a few more days before it could be filled. They wrote PU 1:19 and NKA at the top. what does that mean? ## Did you ask them? My best guess is that the NKA is the initials of the person that you gave it to and the PU 1:19 looks like some sort of internal code, with the time. It likely means something specifically within their pharmacy chain, perhaps the reason why it couldn't be filled yet and the approximate time you were in. But, as I said, this is just a guess, you'd need to ask them to really find out. ## PU is usually pick up. NKA is no known allergies

I need to take a pre-employment drug test either tomorrow or (later) depending on the answer I get here. I was offered a job on Friday 8/30 and literally came down with either a massive allergy attack or a cold about three hours later. Nothing seems to be helping whatever it is but I've taken the following meds (with dosage)...8/30/13 Benadryl (Diphenhydramine 25 mg, 2 ea.) 8/31/13 Claritin (Loratadine 10 mg 1 ea), 8/31/13 evening Nyquil cold & Flu (Acetaminophen 325 mg/Dextromethorphan 1.5mb & Doxylamine Succinate 6.25 mg, 2 ea.), 9/1 Mid day; Alka Seltzer Plus Allergy (Diphenhydramine 25 mg 2 ea.), 9/1 Evening again, Nyquil cold & Flu (Acetaminophen 325 mg/Dextromethorphan 1.5mb & Doxylamine Succinate 6.25 mg, 2 ea.),
Updated in BenadrylWill this pill make u sleepy? So should I take it at bedtime? ## Hi Alicia, The green pill you're describing marked 44 464, contains the following active ingredients: Acetaminophen 500mg + Diphenhydramine 12.5mg + Phenylephrine 5mg. As far as side effects are concerned, high doses of acetaminophen can cause extreme tiredness. Drowsiness, dizziness, and muscle weakness, are also listed as common side effects of diphenhydramine. On the contrary, "sleeplessness" is listed as a general side effect of phenylephrine. So it sounds like you have a mix medications that could be pulling your energy in all these different directions, depending on how your body reacts to them. Not everyone who takes those medications experiences these types of side effects. So in the end it's reall...
Only have half of pill its oblong but flat top n bottom last number's are 012D 1/2 the pill is aprox. 1/2 inch its the color of spicy brown mustered. If that helps ## Hi jon, Based on the description provided, the closest match I'm finding is a half white/half tan oblong shaped pill, marked with "06/012D" on one side and blank on the other. This particular tablet is identified as Allegra-D (12 hour), containing: fexofenadine 60mg + pseudoephedrine 120mg - a combination commonly used to treat hay fever. NOTE: the tan side does appear to resemble mustard, in that it also has little brown freckles/specks throughout that side of the pill. It is manufactured by Sanofi-Aventis, has a National Drug Code of 00088-1090, and is about 19mm in size. I hope this helps! Please post ba...

When I sleep, saliva produced in mouth, keeps on dripping on pillow,it becomes wet.is it a sign of illness ## Hi, Noni! How are you? That's really just a sign of sleeping with your mouth open. Have your sinuses been blocked? Have you had a cold recently? Or do you suffer from any nasal allergies? If so, that could explain it, because if your nose is congested, so you can't breathe well through it, then you will open your mouth to breath, while sleeping and that would allow saliva to trickle out. Have you consulted your doctor?
I found an oval, orange/pink pill, scored on one side with a cursive/fancy "M" on one side. Can anyone identify this pill for me? Thank you! ## Hello, Based on the description provided, I'm not finding any specific tablets listed with that imprint. However I did come across a potential match for the manufacturer. Sanofi-Aventis Pharmaceuticals has what appears to be a cursive "M" on one side of their pill. I could be wrong in assuming that it's an M, but it does look that way. If you were to run a search on google images for "E 018 Pill Allegra" you would likely come across a photo of the logo that I'm referring to. Please post back and let me know if you think this logo fits your description of the cursive/fancy "M"? I hope this helps! ## I t...

UpdatedAfter taking fedac, does one perspire? ## Fedac is listed as containing Triprolidine and Pseudoephedrine and it you're breaking out in a sweat after taking it, it's most likely the latter that's causing it. Pseudoephedrine tends to have a stimulatory like effect in some people that take it, which can cause accelerated heart rate and elevated blood pressure and that may explain your perspiring. Learn more Triprolidine details here and there are more Pseudoephedrine details here. Have you consulted your doctor? It might not be safe for you to take this medication, if it's doing that every time you take it.
small white oval pill scored in center with The letter G on both sides, blank on opposite side of pill ## Based on my research, an oval white tablet imprinted with "G | G" on one side and blank on the other, is identified as Levocetirizine (5mg). NOTE: there is a score line in between the two G's. Levocetirizine is an antihistamine used to relieve symptoms associated with allergies and hay fever. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Levocetirizine Details Hope this helps! ## Thank you so much!!!!!! David.
Is disperzyme tablets recommended in case of sufferring from cold and dry cough? Any side effects? Is there any cheaper substitute of this? ## This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. The only information I was able to locate on Disperzyme is that it is manufactured in Germany by a company called Mucos. You can view their website in the link below (however it is in German and very hard to navigate if you don't know the language): Other than spending hours translating words off that webpage, the only other thing I can sug...
Hi I am allergic to all 8 test on the standard allergy test. I've been using mainly Deselex the past 8 years but want to stop since I am also using a nose spray. Rather I stopped drinking it 4 days ago and now I am itching all over. I rarely itched before starting the chronic antihistamine. How long is the itching going to last and is there anything else I can take to alleviate itching that is not an antihistamine? I had a bath in E45 oil last night and it is not really working.

found this on my floor and do not know what kind of pill it is. ## I can't find a listing for a pill with this marking. The reason for this is that the AZ marking is used by Astra-Zeneca Pharmaceuticals on their over the counter medications and, as such, the markings on not required to be logged like those on prescription medications. They are sold in many different stores throughout the U.S. Does anyone recognize this tablet? ## Pill with AZ 286 on it and the pill is round and white ## AZ 286 - Large, White Round Tablet Sinus Relief (Generic) Acetominophen 325 mg Guaifenesin 200 mg Phenylephrin HCL 10 mg ## Yup, that's right. It's sold in single doses in travel size packages in convenience store, gas stations, etc. For allergy aymptom relief. Works pretty well actually. ## ...
