Apparently it works in several ways, by thinning the viscosity of mucus, stimulating the flow of respiratory tract secretions, and also by decreasing activity in a part of the brain that causes coughing. Side effects please....rashes? ## Hello, Okiemo! How are you? This tablet contains 30mgs of Dextromethorphan and 600mgs of Guaifenesin, it is a cold remedy called Guaifenex DM. What type of rash? Is it just a rash, or is it more like hives that are itchy? It could be an allergic reaction to this medication and you should see your doctor about it, in case it needs treatment.

Urologist put me on this in 1984. It now has become illegal in Wisconsin to get guaifenesin PSE in Wisconsin. This is the only thing that controls my bladder. Is there any way I could still get this as a prescription?? I do not want Mucinex D. If not what is the best generic overactive bladder medicine? Thank you so much. ## Hello, Pubby2! How are you? I have been taking lisinapril for my blood pressure for about a month and a half. About the same time I started the lisinapril I developed this cough that keeps me up most nights and a lot during the day also my nose will just start running. Singular 10 mgr and zirtec 10 mgr is the same efect if take them at night time? ## Hello, Maribel! How are you? Unfortunately, there are far too many cough syrups on the market for me to be able to check them all for against the Levofloxacin, especially since I have no idea which ones you have access to. Can I take mucinex dm and similasan mucus relief together? I have a severe head cold with lots of mucus. ## Hi Shelly, I'd like to be able to provide you with the correct information, but unfortunately there are no drug interaction checkers that compare pharmaceutical preparations and natural or homeopathic formulas (such as Similasan). In many cases, natural alternatives like this are used as an adjunctive therapy to other medications for additional relief. From my own personal experience I'd feel comfortable using the two together. However, I know medications can effect each individual differently, so you may just want to get a second opinion from your doctor first if you have any reservations regarding its use. please tel me the weight gain drug name which should not cause any side effect ## First, all medications carry the risk of side effects. There are none that can be promised to be side effect free. Second, there is no medication that will miraculously help you gain weight. Products that claim to do this as vitamin or herbal supplements that are not actually proven to help with anything. If you are a tiny person who wishes to gain weight, your best bet is to follow a proper diet and exercise regimen. Even doing that, some people are just naturally small, so your weight may not change. Regardless of what I try, I can't top 115 pounds and have just accepted that. Are there any questions or comments? ## Try periactin they really worked for me and many others and I weighed 92lbs.good luck...

I have been taking this medicine for an year and a half .. I had acute wheezing and dust allergy. .. I use inhalers but I am getting knee pain from one week is this a possible side effect.I dont know the root cause but it started with a candidiasis infection on neck ..then hay fever till bronchitis. .I have gastric and vaginal farting ..
