I have been taking lisinapril for my blood pressure for about a month and a half. About the same time I started the lisinapril I developed this cough that keeps me up most nights and a lot during the day also my nose will just start running. The doctor changed my medicine a week ago but I still have the cough. How long until the lisinapril is out of my system?

Hello, Cathy! How are you? I'm very sorry about the cough issue, the same thing happened to me, when I tried Lisinopril.
It took about 2 weeks for it to wear off for me.
Which medication did he switch you to?
