I ache all over, am sensitive to sound and touch, am dizzy, have a cough that sometimes makes me gag. I am a little nauseated but they may be because I have not eaten today. My temperature is up and down. I have COPD and my doctor is away for another week! ## If it is an infection, you will most likely require an antibiotic. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash. Are you on any other medications? Is there a different doctor you can consult? Have you experienced any change in symptoms?

My 8 month old baby often suffers from a cough and my pediatrician gave me ambroxol for him to take twice a day (2.5ml for each dose). My baby's weight is 8 kg. Is the dose given by my doctor advisable? ## You should follow your doctor's instructions. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and expelling of mucous. Is your baby on any other medications? How often does the coughing occur? How severe is it? Is it a dry, or productive cough?

Phenergan contains the active ingredient Promethazine and is commonly used to help prevent nausea and vomiting. Is it OK to take cefalixin cefalin for a cough with stiky plegm ang yellowish color.? ## This is an antibiotic and will only help with bacterial infections. Not all yellowish phlegm is indicative on an infection, so it would be best to have a doctor evaluate your issues. It could just be your body fighting off a cold, or allergic stimuli. I'm prescribed Hydroxy three times a day but I can only take it at night because it makes me sleepy. Is it fine if I take Zyrtec with it in the morning instead of all day long? ## What medication are you referring to? Do you mean Hydroxyzine? Our 4.5 year old granddaughter is visiting and she came with Cyproheptadine 2MG/5ML Syrup. She has nightmares and anxiety at bed time. Takes a 10ML dose every night. Is this okay? I have been taking Omnacortil 10mg daily for about 2 years to address alopecia issues. However, whenever I attempt to stop taking it or reduce the dosage by 5mg, I experience numerous side effects and the alopecia patches return. I develop a severe allergy that begins in my eyes, my appetite decreases, and my eyes blink continuously. What should I do? I have completed all my medical evaluations including blood sugar, blood pressure, thyroid, etc., and everything appears to be normal.

Last night we switched my 16yo from Claritin to Xyzal - She woke up with more hives than normal. Should this start working right away for hives? Or does it take a while to build up in the system? ## Why was her medication switched? It should work within 15 to 20 minutes, just like the Claritin did. i have an allergy i will use this medicine its good for me but now i dont have can you give me a replacement ## I used betneton tablet wayback 2004 because of my skin allergy in my palm (hand and feet), it's not a doctor's prescription but someone who uses it told me that it's very effective then I tried it also, finding that it's also effective for me. My wife is taking practin 4mg every night since last 6 months as part of migaraine treatment. Do it cause any health problems/side effects? Please help me to get true information. I have initially took 5/5 mg of coveram for 2 months.. after my bp was found to be at 160/100.. the doctor prescribed 10/10 coveram but it causes heavy dry cough which lasted for more than a month.. another doctor prescribed to me another medication to stop my coughing. ## A dry cough is a possible side effect of most blood pressure medications, according to the NIH. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased urination. In most cases, the dry cough doesn't go away and someone must try alternative medications. Have you discussed doing so with your doctor? Is this the only medication you are currently taking?
