My doctor prescribed co aleva for 1 week. And he advised me not to eat chicken, seafoods, peanuts and cheese but i cant stop myself from eating those foods. And everytime i eat that food my allergy was active and i take co aleva every time i have allergic reactions. Is there any side effect I need to worry about if i always take that co aleva? ## If you are allergic to those foods, you do have to stop eating them. If you continue to indulge your allergies could continue to get worse, and may become life threatening. A medication will not always be enough to correct this problem, since allergen exposures can get worse with time. NOTE: Co-Aleva (Ebastine + Betamethasone) combines an antihistamine and a steroid to treat a wide variety of ailments, including but not limited to allergies, in...
I used to use Ru tuss to relieve my allergy symptoms and it was very effective. It is no longer available and nothing else I've tried works nearly as well. Why is it no longer available? ## I am a compounding pharmacist and we make custom meds in our lab. this med can be made by a compounding pharmacist in your area as we compound this med. ## This medication contained a belladonna alkaloid, along with Chlorpheniramine, and Pseudoephedrine. Many such medications were not actually approved by the FDA to be on the market, but they were grandfathered in, so to speak, when the FDA took control and started requiring testing for safety and efficacy for new medications. Several years ago, the FDA contacted various manufacturers and told them that they would need to perform the same testing...

Is Fedac syrup safe for babies? There are arguments re the medication because of a baby vomitting after being fed with it. The child's father was told by another doctor that Fedac should be given to children 2 years and above. ## I am not sure which syrup you are referring to, since there are two, however, that is correct from the information listed, none are listed with dosaged for us in children under 2 years of age. Fedac syrup contains Pseudoephedrine, Tripolidine and there is one that also includes Codeine, which is a narcotic. There is concern over adults using Pseudoephedrine and Codeine, so they are generally not recommended in children.
