My son has dry cough. What is the antibiotoc to be taken ## I'm sorry, but an antibiotic will not do anything to help a cough. They are only effective a treating or preventing bacterial infections. The FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. How long has he had the cough? Have you consulted his doctor? ## I've been coughing for almost 2 weeks,I was taking docsed syrup and adco-lictopent syrup but no change.Is there any other syrup or antibiotic I should take to stop the cough,It's a wet cough ## What I know is if you have a productive cough, you need a mucolytic (to dissolve mucus).

I recently tested positive for methadone, which I have never done before. The only explanation is that I had taken 75mg equate diphenhydramine the night before. Is this the possible cause? I am very confused and frustrated. ## This has happened to me twice while in the process of trying to get custody of my kids back. I've been on suboxone for 3yrs and the only either needs ice taken were over the counter sleep aide. I've been treated horribly and even have had a cups case opened against me. I've been so discouraged. I'm still fighting and will not give up. But I have had to stay up to the point of exhaustion because I can't take nothing to help me sleep that won't false positive for something I don't and never take. Can I take benadryl and bromfed within a couple hours of each other? I have a terrible cough. Took benadryl first and it hasn't helped. ## Benadryl is an antihistamine that is used to treat or prevent allergic reactions, so it will not do anything to treat a cough, and unfortunately, Bromfed also isn't like to help, since it has not cough suppressant properties, according to the NIH. To treat a cough, you need a cough suppressant. Have you consulted your doctor to see what's causing your cough and what would be the best remedy? The other side has “xenuciM” printed on it. It seems like Mucinex backwards and spelled wrong. Are there fake Mucinex pills? ## I can't imagine why anyone would try to counterfeit a cheap over-the-counter expectorant such as Mucinex, with very little if any financial incentive. Whereabouts did you get this pill from? Was it found within an existing batch? If so, I wonder if it could simply be an imprint error from the manufacturer... If it were me, I'd probably take it into a local pharmacy for a second opinion because that's definitely not normal. On the other hand, where or how you acquired it could also speak for itself. All of a sudden Nostrilla has disappeared from the shelf of my CVS (which is the only place locally that I was ever able to find it). Online sites have is listed as out of stock. side effects ## Xyzal should be taken off the market. On the week of April 20th I had hallucinations for 4 days and ended up in the ER. I also reported the side effects to the FDA ..... Can I take Mucus Relief DM if it’s expired past a year or two? What do I do? ## Most medication don't become toxic, once they are expired, but they can begin to lose efficacy. Thus, the best thing to do would be to dispose of it, and obtain a new supply, if you still need to take it. The FDA's disposal methods state that you should put them in some undesirable substance, such as dirty cat litter, or coffee grounds, then place the mixture into a sealed container and dispose of it with your regular trash. Can a lab tell the difference between clartin d and methamphetamine? How can a lab test tell the difference? Would it not show up as as the same thing? ## Can Claritin d cause a false positive for amphetimes in a drug test ## YES!! When they test methamphetamine shows up as 2 different chemicals. My husband failed his and he tried to tell the Dr that it was Claritin D and they explained to him that it was not possible and showed him why .
