Does taking 15mg adderall twice a day equal out to 30 IR the whole day or is it 15 mg due to spreading out during the day? ## It equals 30mg total for that 24 hour period. Kind of confused by your question. Whatever you have taken (total) over a 24 hour period is how much you've taken "a day". Hello my name is Scott and I've been on adderall 10mg x2 a day, I've tried sandoz, teva and aurobindo. I've been taking brand-name Adderall for years (10mg XR) without trouble. My last script was delayed due to an "insurance issue" according to my text. The pharmacist @ Walgreens looked into when I called & said, "No problem, your insurance covers the generic now". The peculiar wording didn't occur to me initially until I've literally been vomiting-or so nauseous I wish I would-for 24 hours now! So I took 10 mg of adderall on two separate back to back weekends in 5 mg doses over a month ago and had a haircut the following weekend. I potentially have a hair test coming in the next week or two. It's a pre-employment screen for a position I was offered through a staffing agency so it could be any of the tests. I also have a haircut scheduled for this week (wedding this weekend). If I show up and find out it's a hair test will I hit the cutoff for a positive test or will the concentration be below the 300pg/ml or whatever the cutoff is? ## A hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. I have a traumatic brain injury and secondary ADHD because of it. I'm looking for a doctor in the port Charlotte area who will perscribe me 2 /30mg XR Adderall with 2 /20mg IR Adderall. My current pyschriatirist is making it hard for me to and because of my cognitive deficits high dose stimulants seem to be the only thing that helps me fight back against all the fatigue and lack of productivity I experience due to my brain injury. Does anyone know which generic manufacturer CVS commonly has in stock for both IR and XR Adderall (Amphetamine Salts)? I know they used to carry Mylan for the IR and it's awful. They also used to carry Actavis for the XR which is also terrible, but I don't have many pharmacy choices with my insurance.. and I'm nervous that I'm going to get stuck with Actavis/Mylan... if anyone has any info I'd appreciate it. I have taken 40mg of Adderall XR (20 mgx2) for over five years. Once in the past i had to stop taking the Adderall abruptly and the withdrawal was terrible. From everything i heard and was told it wasnt supposed to be bad. I was stuck in bed for days. No matter how much i slept i was exhausted. The only way they would show up differently is if a test was being used that checked your levels of it. I have been taking Adderal for many years, the orange oval generic pill. My last prescription had white R 351 pills. I never had a problem with the orange ones. The new white ones give me chest pain and nausea and I'm very shaky inside and out to the point that I thought I was given the wrong medication by the pharmacy I use. Through trial and error I believe I have found a method to get the most consistency and efficacy out of Adderall (amphetamines in general) while maintaining the lowest possible dose for therapeutic values. (note: some of which is discussed here may go against the indicated treatment of your doctor. My insurance only pays for the brand Adderall pills and does not support the generic. The doctor started me off with 20mg of XR daily. After a couple weeks, those didn't seem to work as well so she upped my dose to 30mg XR. I was looking at the 20mg and comparing what they looked liked to the 30mg. The 20mg had on them M.Salts or something like that the name Adderall wasn't listed anywhere. Both pills are oblong and orange; the 30mg says AdderallXR 30mg right on the pill. Yes. You can. I have read multiple sources saying you can, the first time I heard of it (and it is acclaimed to be one of best roa's after putting up the booty), I tried it. I did feel a noticeable difference as I usually break my 2 30 ir down to 4 15 ir to take throughout day for duration. The one 15 I subligualed felt very much like an oral 30, was a bit more clear also. It didn't last any longer though unfortunately, because that is what I am searching for, a way to make the IR last longer.
