Adderall Manufactured By Teva Not Working (Page 29) (Top voted first)

I have had two refills of Adderall 20 mg that was manufactured by Teva/barr (Teva) and it seems to have much less medication in each pill. Refills by another manufacturer work. This is ridiculous, and where do we report Teva and who can check each pill for amount for medication? I would gladly donate some of my worthless ones to the FDA?

Awake at night with this new formula. I just want to close my eyes and lay down.
This new company gets an "F". Same as my kids if they cant get with it.

Now you know precisely why TEVA is the one that is always available. No one wants their adderall. Oh I am sure parents give it to their children (though) and wonder why lil Johnny and Suzy are so out of it. Never imagining that the medication is defective.

Search this and notice it states that TEVA is telling its generic suppliers what drugs it wants and at what cost. Much the way wal-mart tells its suppliers what to do. So, we receive the cheapest, poorest quality drug possible.

OMG does it really? I swear I am constantly having ear issues that just started mainly over the past year. They always feel itchy and almost wet inside but are always completely clean! Almost like flying or going up into the mountains.

I too have had the same thing happen to me with the Norco 10/325 by Amneal and the Xanax by Sandoz. They are both ineffective. How can these companies get away with this? It's despicable and crooked!! I have pain and panic attacks!! My medicine needs to work at normal dosages!! Big pharma is messing with our medication...especially the generics!! The generics are garbage these days!! There is NO WAY they can deny this!! It is happening to many, many people. So this is not something the consumers are imagining. Stop selling us medicine stuffed with garbage fillers and less medicine!!

I agree because suddenly my tolerance is higher too. I have to take a higher dose when the week before for a year I was only taking 40mgs per day. Now 60 mgs barely works there is no way I built that much tolerance overnight.

Has anyone else noticed they are retaining water like crazy with the Teva brand? Been off of it for 5 days and I’ve lost 8 lbs... has to be water weight.

In February I started on Adderall 10mg 2x a day and it was Aurobindo. It was PERFECT. A month later, I refilled with TEVA and went into a week of withdrawals, it was like there was no real medication in the bottle. So my doctor put me on 20mg XR for a month and it was Sandoz, and it was perfect but insurance didn’t cover it.

Doctor put me back on 10mg 2x a day and all my CVS had was TEVA, so I wouldn’t fill the script. I tried to take it to my grocery pharmacy, and they had aurobindo, but long story short, I was treated like I was seeking drugs, and he refused to fill the script.

Luckily enough, my CVS found a bottle of aurobindo, and managed to fill my script. But I’m happy to see that I’m not crazy, and that TEVA hasn’t been working well for others either.

Sandoz have become discontinued across the border. It's f****n sad. It's the only brand that helps me. The number for Sandoz is 609-627-8500. I called myself - good luck guys. Dont take the trash that makes u sick, cause i'm surely not! Check out sun pharma, it may be ok....My son takes that one in 7.5 with no problems that I know of! Check out the fda and everyone start flooding their website so that we can make a change!

I'm taking the Mylan 30 mg now. First couple of days ok....tolerance builds quicker than any generic I've taken ....they basically are sugar pills. Crap!

Ive read every thread imaginable that had to do with generic adderall cause i know how much they differ

The nasty mood / irratation, heart racing, anxiety effects are NOT NORMAL if you are experiencing such effects, switch generics.

From what ive gathered
SANDOZ(never tried but its one of the brands i was willing to recieve due to many positive reveiws)
TEVA( SUPER MIXED REVIEWS. Ive read nasty and seriously terrible comments on this saying it lost its potency, causes weight gain, and even ruins lives basically. BUT I ALSO read that many comments that it is the ONLY brand people are willing to accept, because its the only one that works. I can confirm ive tried it, and it works well)
MYLAN(just got it, it works even better)

Its only my first day taking the mylans- who knows if its just a one shot pony or something. We shall see. Ill report back.

Another thing i should mention is my boyfriend gets the mylan and it works smooooth for him too.

OMG! Yesssssss! CorePharma's pink pills were miracles. NEVER ever developed a "tolerance" to those. I am switching next month to PRACO (the only authorized generic) XR. It's THE ONLY ANSWER to making Adderall work again, unless CorePharma comes back with the same recipe. I'll f/u and let y'all know if it works. I am currently RX'd 60 mg/day but end up taking more due to ineffective bunk pills.

If that's true, then it's a very disappointing move by our government. The solution to drug abuse is not to tamper with medications that people take to function on a daily basis. Then again, with the uneducated secretary of education, and climate change-denier head of the EPA, I wouldn't be surprised if some unqualified clown at the DEA is making these decisions.
