Adderall Backorder (Page 70) (Top voted first)

I take generic Adderall 20 mg for narcolepsy and there is not one local pharmacy that has it in stock. I have never had this problem before. The pharmacies are saying that it's on backorder from the manufacturer. Is anyone else having problems getting their scripts filled?

Well if that’s the case then doctors should stop writing Rx for adderall! That is just ridiculous!! How can they keep getting away with this! Why prescribe medication for years and without warning, after very dependent on it just STOP!

There is no reduction in stimulants. The article they are referencing is about pseudoephedrine and ephedrine

It includes Schedule II medications. Adderall is a Schedule II.

Yes.. same.. they said it’s an issue with the manufacturer and it’s a shortage at all pharmacies.

Generic Depot in Pembroke Pines has plenty, just filled mine today. I had to call around 15 different pharmacies before calling Steve at Generic Depot. However, he won't or can't fill any Narcotic Scripts by themselves, you have to have another non-narcotic prescription or he will not fill it - no exemptions. I had to have my Doctor call in Ibuprofen in order to have my Adderall filled.

Same problem in Maineville and Cincinnati Ohio. I get generic adderall xr 30mg. Shocking this happens with a schedule II prescription and people need to to function.

I'm in southwest Florida and I have been waiting for my D-Amphetamine to be filled for two weeks now. Today I got a call from Walgreens saying that my script was ready for pickup! The only difference I noticed was the price was $20 instead of $12 but I didn't care. I came home to take two of them and noticed they were different. They are still peach color just round and with the imprint T 375 by Ascent pharmaceutica,inc... instead of Lannett pharma which is what my Walgreen's carries all the time so ask about Ascent pharmaceutical. I just took two so I don't know how they are yet good luck!
