Adderall Backorder (Page 71) (Top voted first)

I take generic Adderall 20 mg for narcolepsy and there is not one local pharmacy that has it in stock. I have never had this problem before. The pharmacies are saying that it's on backorder from the manufacturer. Is anyone else having problems getting their scripts filled?

That’s insane! Is it just Adderall? Maybe you can ask your doc to write a temporary RX for Ritalin, Dexedrine, Vyvanse, Concerta or something like that until they are back in stock?

I live in southwest Florida and Walgreens usually has Lannett pharma D-Amphetamine and I had to wait two weeks for my refill. One day I got a call from Walgreens saying that my script is ready for pickup! The only difference I noticed was the price at pickup was$20 instead of the usual$12. I get home open the bottle and they looked different. They are round peach color with the imprint T 375 from ascent pharm. I never heard of them before but it's in the US. They are ok no better or worse than any other.

Yeah it's just adderall, I have a appointment with my doctor in a few days and think I'll ask him about this.

I picked up my D-Amphetamine at Walgreens in north port Florida which is considered Sarasota county. 15180 tamiami trail 34287. Mine is the 20mg . Walgreens by me usually has lenette pharma. Now they have ordered from Ascent pharmaceutical.

I’m also having difficulties. They say all Walgreens aren’t carrying it in Florida. I’m not even sure what to do at this point or who to contact regarding this manufacture issue. Let me know if you hear of any updates please

If you’re talking about the instant release those are only generic and they’ll fill it with whatever manufacturer they have available. I’d try asking the pharmacist what doses they do have in stock. If any. Are you in Florida also?

Per FL Board of Medicine:

House Bill 831 (2019), Electronic Prescribing, was signed into law by Governor DeSantis. The effective date is January 1, 2020. The bill provides important new requirements for prescribers to generate and transmit all prescriptions electronically upon licensure renewal or by July 1, 2021, whichever is earlier.

I have my doc write TEVA specifically on the escript and it all seems to work out that way. Stamp is that of TEVA and not that of the 'new' Lannett. Works and 'feels' the same too.
