Adalat R (Top voted first)
UpdatedI need to know if it is used as a prophylactic to prevent pulmonary hypertension

Adalat-R contains the active ingredient Nifedipine, which is a calcium channel blocker, used to treat Angina and various forms of hypertension.

If someone has been diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension, it can be a very dangerous condition that can lead to heart failure, so it is normal for someone to be given a medication to try to prevent such complications from occurring.

However, if someone hasn't been diagnosed with it and has no signs of any form of hypertension, then there really is not point to taking one of these medications.
Are there any other questions?
Thank you for the reply.
