Accord Clonazepam (Top voted first)
UpdatedThese are horrible, Accord Clonazepam. I'll be glad when I get my new script and can go back to TEVA.
Re: Matyilip (# 3)
I agree with you. I have fought with my pharmacy to get my Accord back. Teva is garbage. If I had the Accord, I wouldn't be awake all night, like now.
Accord is high quality. I like it much more than TEVA,.....,..........kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Every drug works differently on every person. Teva did nothing for me. Accord works great.
Re: JJ (# 11)
I just received the Accord yesterday. Pretty bad, very weak. I would give anything to get any.other manufacturer clonazepam than Accord. I think it has more fillers in it rather than active ingredients. All pharmacies in my area carry Accord and no other brand. I'm stuck and when I run out if this batch I have no other pharmacy to use. Accord is the cheapest and that's why pharmacies are buying them. FDA needs to check and see if these are substandard. To me, they are terrible.
There have been a lot of recent complaints on our site about medications manufactured by Accord. Sorry you also had a bad experience.

Since pharmacies buy in bulk, it is highly likely that they'll still have the ones manufactured by Accord in stock, when you order a refill. So, you might want to make sure to tell them ahead of time that you don't want them and prefer the ones made by Teva.
Are there any comments or questions?
Re: JJ (# 11)
Has Mylan filled with the Accord brand and I’m having interpose withdrawal. It does not last the same time frame as the Mylan. I’m pissed off and yelling at everyone or crying, not sleeping and it makes me feel sick. I called Walgreens and let them know that I would switch pharmacies if this was going to be their new Clonazepam med!!!
Re: JJ (# 11)
Accord is horrible. It changed my lifestyle. It causes anxiety that I never had on Mylan. I just took Mylan for sleep and now I can't sleep and have anxiety and trouble eating and if you like to feel drugged instead of alert, Accord may appeal to you.
I have always taken Teva Brand 1mg clonazepam for my anxiety and panic disorder. Teva brand has been very good and reliable. After picking up my monthly prescription at my pharmacy I saw these little blue pills (the Accord brand). UGH! I might as well take baby aspirin or sugar pills because the 1MG clonazepam by Accord does NOT METABOLIZE in my body. I just started a new job last week and my anxiety has been off the charts. Mylan Brand clonazepam does not metabolize in my body either. Life has been absolute hell this month. I started having panic attacks at age 16 and now I am 51 years old. I had to call around to several pharmacies to find one that carries the Teva brand. I'm sorry that we have to deal with this crap.... having a disease or disorder is bad enough.
Re: Sylvia (# 75)
Sylvia, just want you to know that I'm really sorry that you had the heart attack caused by these pharmaceutical companies. I myself had a stroke because of the Sandoz company changing the way that they made their clonazepam. It's been two years now and I haven't recovered from the stroke that damaged my eyesight. They literally ruined my life. I'm glad that you're doing ok for now. Please, please be extremely careful DON'T ever try to stop taking it on your own you can end up with a stroke like me. There is no solution to this situation because the bottom line is that the pharmaceutical companies only agenda is to make money at anyone's expense. I pray that you will do well and continue to recover after the heart attack. May God Bless us all. This world is made up many, many greedy people that don't believe that there is a hell waiting for them for the hell that they've made out of our precious lives. Yes after two years of suffering from a pharmaceutical company who really didn't care yes I do feel angry. They ruined my life and the lives of many others. Be very careful take care of yourself. Wishing you well because I certainly understand.
So I got my script filled before I left town and I always check my bottle for my good ole MFG and NDC#. Both were intact but the surprise was on the inside. Little Blue pills with the C and the 1..... Not my normal 1mg TEVA. Being trusting I figured maybe they finally changed color. I took one and roughly 2.5 hours later I was in a state of displaced panic. I snapped my wifes head (out of character big time) and cut someone off on the highway flipping them off as I passed (very out of character). So my wife looked into it and they were Accord 1mg Clonazepam in the bottle. Needless the pharmacist screwed up and wont refill or take his mislabeled medicine back. But my doctor as great as he is is moving me to a little pharmacy he goes to and calling in my script for emergency refill due to mislabeled medication. Sadly these Accord are still no match for the hades the Activis brand put me through. The Activis landed me in ER.
I take mine for Seizures and have for 15 years. 1mg 3 times a day.
I preferred the Accord over the Teva brand, myself.
Re: Michele (# 21)
This is just an Accord user because Mylan isn't available. The Accord got so bad that I did a lot of research and in about three weeks, I tapered down to .125 mg, two or three times a day. I'm no longer dopey, the anxiety is hardly ever. If I don't feel anxious in the afternoon, I skip the afternoon tiny chunk. The Accord also gave me a giant headache and my heart was way too noticeable. Even one fourth of the Accord was toxic to me. There are different ways to taper. This worked for me - check with your doctors on tapering. I just got very lucky most of the side effects are gone or minimal. I still wake up a lot but I did that before the Accord due to all night radio; drift in and out. I'd rather take the Mylan. I can wait it out now.
I've always taken Teva for 25 yrs and now today I got the Accord. I really dont like change with this medication. As stated previously by someone, this is just keeping me out of withdrawal. I dont feel it's very effective and if the Accord is less effective and makes me more dopey I will be seriously more dow. I just wish I never had to take the meds. In the beginning the brand name klonopin was like a miracle cure. Now i always have anxiety. I think the longer you're on it the more you notice differences. I guess we'll see when I take the Accord this week. I guess most wouldn't understand but people on this drug, but I feel I like I cant be on it or off the meds. I never abused it but im dependent.
Re: Verwon (# 1)
I have called my pharmacy and all pharmacies in the Houston area. They are all giving out Accord and they don't work for me. My PCP didn't believe me when I told him I could tell the difference and I'm afraid if I keep telling him, he will just not prescribe them anymore. He gave me 45 and I've taken 2 at a time of the 1 mg which he told me to take no.more than 1 mg. Any suggestions? He didnt want to give them to me to begin with, but I've got anxiety disorder and insomnia. I've also called Accord and filled out questionnaire on their website. I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I just found out today Teva will no longer be carrying there Teva brand anymore and are switching to Actavis. I've been taking Accord for around a week and have had back pain, felt way less results and had more depression and lack of motivation. So after 20 years the best drug Teva will no longer be available. I would call to Teva and complain if you prefer that brand. This really sucks. I'm considering getting off the medication now. Only Teva worked for me positively.
I was using Mylan and last month Accord was in my bottle. I wasnt getting the response I usually did with the Mylan but just thought I must be overly anxious. I went to the doctor after 15 1 mg pills over 2 weeks and NO BENZO in my urine. I then got another refill of 6, took 2 within 24 hrs and had a U/A showing NO BENZO. I took a different brand and within 2 hours my U/A showed Benzo. I cant get anymore refills because the doctors think I'm not taking it. I analyzed it myself also and NO BENZO. I think we are being scammed people....I have filed a complaint with ACCORD.
If youre having trouble finding Teva look into CVS pharmacy. Theyre the only place I personally know of that has Teva. Im still getting them and you may be able to order Teva from a CVS if you have a nice phramacist. Good luck and best wishes to anyone having problems.
After years of using Mylan clonazepam I started getting refill after refill of a different manufacturer every month, so I asked my doctor to order Klonopin. That way I don't have to worry about whether it will work or not.
Re: J (# 115)
You're very welcome. It feels good to have other people understand us that have issues with anxiety and that don't respond well to all brands. Some of these docs think it's all in our heads when we know it's not. Best of luck ??
Re: J (# 112)
Mylan and Actavis are no longer being manufactured. Big Pharma has us by the short hairs because although there are alternatives if you ask for a list of manufacturers of clonazepam, I wonder how many of them are still being manufactured. BP is bound and determined to get all generics off the market because according to some pundit, clonazepam is the most dangerous drug on the market - therefor the crunch on the opioid crisis. Apparently the drug of choice for the elite, etc., which leaves the rest of us who NEED it out in the cold.
