I accidentally took a white pill, that was not my prescription. It had an imprint of 54 583. Should I worry? If you don't know the answer that's ok.

This tablet is manufactured by Roxane Laboratories and they list it as containing 40mgs of Furosemide, which is a diuretic that is used to remove excess fluid from the body to treat conditions, such as edema, high blood pressure, and congestive heart failure.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, hypotension, and dehydration.
