I was on a cocktail of different med's up until 2 days ago, I now am on venlor 75mg whereby after day 5 I move up to 225mg, I am also on concerta, which I love, xanor 1,0mg twice daily and etomine 40mg at night. Since taking these med's, I Still can't sleep at night and feel extremely disorientated and lazy throughout the day. I have tried most sleeping pill's but nothing seems to work? Any suggestions? ## Etomine contains the active ingredient Clotiapine, which is an atypical antipsychotic. Unfortunately, since it isn't used in the U.S. I haven't been able to find a lot of informati...
Today, my boyfriends 6 year old son was started on Vyvanse. His father has been fighting the medicating of his son in court; we are now court ordered to give the med. This bright, energetic boy is perfect as he is: behaviors are mainly while with Mom, which is 80% of his time. I am heart sick as I read about the dangers, side effect and anger caused by this med. I come to this with some knowledge. I have a 24 year old daughter who was diagnosed as ADHD and took Ritalin for about 10 years. I regret that decision; she and I both hated the med, and used it only for school hours. The primary side effects for that were primarily loss of appetite. She did take Adderall for 1 week; and my beautiful daughter had horrible rage alternating with episodes of weeping. Now here I am years later; with...
I started taking Vyvanse in July of 2012. For about 4 weeks prior to that, I had been taking about 40mg of AdderallXR that I had gotten from a friend. I know taking anything not prescibed for you is a terrible idea but I was convinced that I had severe ADHD and when things started getting stressful at work, I started to fall apart because the coping mechanisms that had become part of my life couldn't cope enough anymore. It was very, very difficult to find a physician that would help me, they would want to do a list of tests or therapy or some anti-depressant that never worked when I was a kid. On psychiatrist wanted me to do neural feedback therapy that would be months of treatments, hours at a time, and cost a lot of money. I didn't have months, hours, or money, I WAS LOSING M...
Updated in Vyvansehave been prescribed adderall & while taking it have had two negative tests for amphetamines. this is going to involve losing the meds that are helping make life bearable. how can the tests come back negative when am taking the drug as prescribed?

pale yellow capsule ## DEXMETHYLPHENIDATE (Focalin™ XR) is a stimulant. It can improve attention span, concentration, and emotional control, and reduce restless or overactive behavior. This medicine treats attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Federal law prohibits the transfer of dexmethylphenidate to any person other than the person for whom it was prescribed. Do not share this medicine with anyone else. Generic dexmethylphenidate extended-release capsules are not available. ## Just to confirm, I have also identified the pale yellow capsule with imprint NVR D10 as Focalin XR (10 mg). "Focalin XR, also referred to as Dexmethylphenidate, is used as a treatment for ADHD, ideally in conjunction with psychological, educational, behavioral or other forms of treatment. I...
I found a bunch of yellow and orange capsules that are unmarked with larger sized white beads in them. They taste like an upper with adderall side affects. What are they? Generic adderall xr? I've seen adderall xr beads many times but the capsules were marked and a different color . Can someone please tell me what they are? ## its generic ritalin (methylphenidate) ## If they have no markings, then they are not a U.S. manufactured and approved prescription medication. They are all required to have imprints to enable their identification in case of emergency. The only exception would be something that was specially done by a compounding pharmacy, since they use unmarked capsules. It is actually far more likely that these were just some type of over the counter product, though there is...
I started with methamphetamine in march only 3 times on different days (few amounts) and started again on Saturday april 6th. I took like 7 doses throughout the whole night and stopped for 20 days but started again last Friday april 26th and finished it today Tuesday april 30th. I used to smoke marijuana so my mom is drug testing me on (may 10th). I have 10 days left until she buys the drug test from the pharmacy. I'm male, 18 yrs old, weigh 215lbs. Will i show positive or false? What do you think? If you have experience with this i think it's better but everyone is welcome to respond.
Updated in MethamphetamineWell I've had many late nights the past 7 months on vyvanse but I have never had a full one..I'm talking up since 11 am yesterday and it's currently 8 am (took 80mg but at like..3pm)..really no point in sleeping now, and I took 0.5 mg of clonazepam and it did nothing. BASICALLY for me to get through the day (until 10 pm ish) should I get the f*** up and get a vanilla latte at Starbucks and then take my 80 mg again? I really hate feeling as if I'm "abusing" my medication because it truly has worked wonders for my GAD and inability to focus... But right now is crunch time and I have to finish a paper today for tomorrow, and I have class 6-9 I need to be alert for (in class-quiz)... HELP PLEASEEE ## Hi Alessia, It sounds like this medication is working too well if y...
Looks like either lower case b or a weird 9 or 6 can see numbers on the back but has score line on back the b or 9 on front ## You mentioned that you can see numbers on the back of the pill. Do you know what those markings may be? The possibility of 'other numbers' on one side leaves this open to an array of options. However based on the description provided, the closest match I'm finding is a blue, oval, flat-faced, beveled-edge tablet with two partial bisects on one side debossed with b over 972 and two partial bisects and a full score on the other side debossed with 1|0. This particular pill is identified as Amphetamine and dextroamphetamine 10 mg. NOTE: the "b" looks very similar to a "9", so that part of your description also matches up. Manufacturer: Te...
I take 30 mg ER twice a day and it seems to wear off latter on before the evening time. Does anyone have this issue if so what do you or your doctors do to fix this. ## From what I could gather, many people are saying that the D-Amphetamine Salt Combo seems to only last about 4 hours before it's initial effects start to fade. However they may or may not be referring to the extended release version. Others have also stated that the generic doesn't necessarily work as well or as long as the name brand. I wouldn't doubt this to be true, as I know generic medications are allowed to contain up to 20% more or less of the actual active ingredients. This factor, along with different inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) could enable you to have a completely different reaction to ea...
My son was disgnosed in the 3rd grade with ADHD and has been on Addrerall ever since and he is now in the 5th grade. He started a new school that has a doctor there to monitor him and on the 17th of May they took him off of the adderall and put him on Abilify. I have been noticing serious aggression and anger and yelling there are things that I did not see in the home before he did those things while on the addreall in school and that is why he is in a different school. They did not gradually decrease his adderall they just stopped it and put him on different neds the same day. I was wondering if possible he is going through withdrawl symptoms from the Adderall. Any inquiries would be helpful Thanks ## In this case, it is actually hard to say, because it could be either from stopping the...

My daughter is 12 and has recently been diagnosed with ADHD. She has been started on this medication..Vyvanse. It seems to be helping her concentrate and her behavior seems better. However, her appetite is poor. I would like to take her off the medication for weekends. Her doctor thinks it is better for her to take it 7 days every week. Do you know if thats necessary? ## Hello, I'm sorry to hear that. My research suggests that patients who use Vyvanse should be aware that they can suffer from serious withdrawal symptoms if they abruptly stop using the medication. Therefore, I think it would be best to speak with your doctor about switching your daughter to something that won't alter her appetite- or have her continue to take the Vyvanse every day of the week like your doctor has...
I have read on this forum about auditory hallucinations with vyvanse. Is this a common side effect? Is it a side affect for meds like Adderrall also, or just this medication? ## Hello, Based on my research, mental/mood/behavior changes (such as agitation, aggression, mood swings, depression, hallucinations, and abnormal thoughts/behavior) are serious side effects of Vyvanse. Those side effects may also occur with Adderrall- but are rare. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Vyvanse Details You can learn more about this drug on the page for Amphetamine + Dextroamphetamine Details I hope this info helps!
oval shaped orange pill. oned side scored with -2 on half and 0 on other half. front side of pill is b over 373 ## found peach oval pill - b 373 on one side & -2/-0 on other side ## I think that the marking on the tablet in question may have actually been b 973 with 20 on the opposite side. This tablet contains 20mgs of mixed amphetamine salts, it's a generic for Adderall, which is most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, insomnia and loss of appetite. You can learn more Adderall details here. Is there anything I can help with? Are there any questions or comments?
I'm a senior in high school and have been taking vyvanse since the middle of my freshman year. I take it every school day for my ADD. I'm prescribed 40 mg. I've never been able to think a perfect way to describe how I feel when it's wearing off. After about 3 hours I'll start to feel like there's fog in my head. Everything seems hazy and dream like. I'll become extremely irritated to the point where the next person that talks is lucky they aren't getting punched. At lunch I won't eat from no appatite and I'll sit there with my friends as I say nothing. I feel awkward, nervous, anxious, alone, and paranoid. I don't want anything to do with anyone maybe because I feel like something's wrong with me. Later on in the day I begin to feel my fac...
I've decided to go back on ADD/ADHD medication and am looking for a good doctor to basically do medication management in N.VA DC area. I work two jobs and am starting to lose my full time one due to my ADD. I'd like to find a doc who's not going to make me sit there for 50 minutes and talk about my life I'm well aware of how to live with my disorder and have been med free for last 7 years but took a promotion and I can't get any of numerous projects done in timely manner since I'm all over the place and I can't lose this job. I also don't have time for weekly sessions and the doctors I've seen so far insist on counseling sessions if I want meds. Can someone please help ASAP. Thanks ## Based on my research, usually your best bet is to see a psychiatris...
It is thin white w/ M on one side and 10 on the other. Not scored but has 2 small lines, one above the "10" one below "10". Not completely scored. Is it Ritalin . ## Based on my research, this tablet contains 10mgs of Methyphenidate, the active ingredient in Ritalin. Methylphenidate is the most commonly prescribed psychostimulant and is indicated in the treatment of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome and narcolepsy. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Methylphenidate Details I hope this helps!
My doctor just gave me a prescription of methylin er and it makes me tired. Should I up the dose to give me enery to concentrate. I don't need to be tired I need to be awake to concentrate. This is the 1st day i took it. Are you suppose to be sluggish? Or does it just take a couple days to work effectivley? I am 54 and need to concentrate. ## I have tried both generic ritalin (methylin er) and BRAND NAME ritalin. There is HUGE difference! If you are getting tired on generic ritalin ask your doctor to write on perscription: brand name nessasary. It costs more but worth it. You should give the brand name ritalin a few weeks before you see a consistant change. ## I've found that any ER or LA doesn't work for me. Methylphenidate doesn't work either. Only the immediate releas...
