Doctor. My daughter is 9 years old. She Is ADHD patient. She is taking Sizidon1 along with Methamild 10 mg. She is taking it since a year. She falls asleep after having Sizidon. If it is safe to give her these medicines continually and can effect the kidney or any other internal organ? ## Sizodon contains the active ingredient Risperidone, which is a potent antipsychotic medication that's used to treat various mental health disorders. I am 41 and started taking concerta 72mg one 32 mg pill at 830 and the other at 1230. At first I was taking both bills in the morning but it not effect for me after a few hours. I was a unable to focus at work always making mistakes. This has been going on all my life. This medicine has saved my life because my supervisor notice I am focus and detail more at work. I have to force myself to eat sometimes I get sick after I eat. I did have road rage twice since being on this medicine the worst side effect but since I notice this I will work on it. My son is 8 and he has autism. He has never been on medication before. He is now on Intuniv and today was the 2nd day he took it. His blood pressure was low, he was vomiting and slept out of the ordinary. Unfortunately the Dr never told me that foods high in fat increases the side effects. I'm afraid to keep giving it. Why are the manufacturers allowed to put a specific medicine that is used by millions of children and their bodies are adjusted to the meds to be put on backorder across the United States? What are the parents supposed to do in order to handle their autistic children with ADHD because the manufacturers want to be less than efficient, thereby causing additional medical problems. ## I'm sorry that you're having a problem and I do understand your concern about your child, but in some cases, this isn't something that can be prevented. My son started Intuniv last month. Immediately, he started having the most foul smelling burps - so bad it would make me think he had messed in his pants. After two weeks of this, the vomiting and diarrhea started. Now, I have him off the Intuniv, but it is taking forever to get his stomach back to normal. And possibly may need ritalin-- how does one go about being tested for adult ADD or ADHD and figuring out the treatment for it? I have trouble finishing projects and tasks; my focus is off in some way that makes me think tht perhaps this has always been a problem for me. I just found out that shire has multiple programs running for intunive. my DR got us in one that runs for 6 months. Well it hard to take when you hear that another discount program offered runs for 12 months. Would have saved $1200 more for yr. After 5th call i have found out that the company does not educate the public to what the can get from these programs. 1) They run multiple programs and will not move you to another once you are signed up. So if your rep/dr gave you th 6month card the company will not move you to 12months prorated. What I want to know is who is getting the 12 month cards? Trying to use them in a different manner could cause you to get too much of the medication at once, which could result in overdose that may put you in danger. I was called in for a drug test and I think Amphetamine must of gotten on my finger before work or at work? I know my urine is clean but, a safety pin dropped into the urine off my under garment, the nurse had me get it out with my finger, now I'm suspended and may lose my job.. my finger had to be contaminated that's the only way.. I may have been set up!
