Hi, my son is 12 years old and was diagnose with ADHD, He started to take this medication from the 18 July 2016 to date and his taking Risperlet 0.5mg and concerta 36 in the morning and 1mg at night together with the Epilizine, since Tuesday afternoon his been complaining about feeling hot and not feeling very well, this morning on Thursday he had a blackout sitting in the cough with thick salaiva out of his mouth that was very scary, he just dozed-off and I tried to wake him up, called his doctor immediately and he told me to stop the medication, Not sure what is the cause is the medication to strong for him or the doctor can't find the right dose for him? I was on private property, police were called and I have a failed back surgery with nerve damage from lower back to feet. I was given a ua test on Wednesday when i seen my Dr. Opiates showed up. In blood test opiates did not show Up on Monday, what did show up was methamphetamines, which I and my wife were taking sudaephadrine and Advil cold and sinus in large doses 6-12 tabs every 5 hours or so. I was taking 220mg morphine a day, 6 mg klonapin a day, currently I'm taking300 mg morphine a day, 6 mg klonapin, and 20 mg of valium a day. I've been seeing the same Dr. For over 3 years every 2 weeks I get a ua and have never failed, I've been on over 200mg morphine for over a year and half. He takes Clonidine 0.2mg (1am, & 1pm); Amlodipine Besylate 10mg (1pm); Testosterone Cypionate (1ml) 1 per wk; & Hydrocodone 10mg (1 tab four times daily) can any of these meds cause a false positive on a hair follicle test? Cause CPS has taken our kids and is trying to build a case, but we don't do drugs and yet his hair follicle test was off the chart over 11,ooo mg showed up in his hair. I heard that Bupropion in Lisinopril can cause a false positive. And my husband used to use Lisinopril but has since switched to the Clonidine and the Amlodipine Besylate. I believe it is the Besylate that has built up in his system to be causint the false positive. About six months ago I asked my doctor if she would prescribe me Adderall. I took it in my youth and stopped after graduating school. Recently, I've tried going back to college and I thought maybe it would help me to concentrate. She started me on a low dosage (10mg) of generic adderall (amphetamine salts ER) and the next month I asked if she could up it because I didn't really notice a difference. She put me on 20mg. I do not believe my grandson who is in kindergarten is adhd but his dr. is putting him on 10 mil. of adderall. What exactly is this drug? I found this small reddish brownish oval pill shaped and on one side is engraved 54 on it, I've been googling and asking around about it but I just can't seem to find it anywhere on the Internet! Which is sad because my friends are doing these and worried because I never seen or heard of them in my life! I periodically am drug tested due to being on probation. My sister gave me one of her Saphris for a couple of nights due to insomnia. I tested positive for methamphetamine the morning after I had taken it. Can Saphris cause a false positive for methamphetamine?

can you take 20mg of Dexmethylphenidate with 100 mg Gabapentin? I want to make sure that my son can take both at the same time or should I wait until his meds are wear off. my son takes Dexmeth early morning and another one at 2pm and Gabapentin at nights at 9 pm. the 2 pm dexmeth is only a 15mg. ## Hello, Tricia! How are you? The Dexmethylphenidate can increase the effects of the Gabapentin, but it is not considered a dangerous interaction, it is only listed by the FDA as being a minor one. Thus, he may experience more nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth than usual, so he should only take them both if they have been prescribed for him. Is there anything else I can help with?

What is the difference between vyvanse and adderall and what will it show up different in a urine test ## I would say vyvanse is a better bet. ## On the drug test, probably. Veneyase(sic) effect are similiar to dexedrine without the euphoria. As w/ the mixed salts, 'it keeps on going'. ## Lol... There's not much difference! Vyvaynse uses amphetamines as their active ingredient but in much much lower strength! I do not see how it would test different in a urine test either? However the spelling does not use amphetamine/dextroamphetamine salts! they use amphetamine... Do you know what Dextro means? Can they tell the difference between Vyvanse and Adderall through a UDS (urine drug screen) IN THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE or is that something that they would have to send away for? I'm aware that they CAN tell the difference between the two, but can they tell the difference between them with a test that they can do right in my doctor's office or do they have to do a special test for it? ## If I have been taking adderal and just got a prescription for vyvanse and I have a ya test for pain management will they be able to tell the difference between adderal and vyvanse on a drug screening that is sent to the lab ## No they can't tell!! How can I tell if the "Adderall" perscription l am taking is a "placebo" containing something other than Adderall or if it's contents are genuine? I am 60 years old and have been taking adderall XR successfully for several years to stablilize my temperment. We moved to a new area with a new doctor who is skeptical of Adderall. The new perscription just doesn't seem to be working and I suspect he has perscribed a "placebo". Outwardly, the capsule looks genuine. ## Check the tiny wording on the orange capsules. He must now go to groups two times a week because he showed dirty urine for barbiturates, yet claims all he's been taking is the Melatonin for sleep at night. Is that even possible, because I certainly can't believe him with out confirmation on this one.

I'm taking dexmethylphenadate er (I think that's how you spell it) 20mg. I just started taking it Friday morning and on my second dose today. Is it common to feel very tired and sleepy when my body is getting used to it? Plus ever since Friday I've been going number 2 a lot. Should I be worried or is this common with this medication? ## Hello, David! How are you? Yes, the FDA does list those issues as being possible side effects of this medication. You may also experience nausea, dizziness and, eventual insomnia. However, they are usually transient and tend to go after about 4 to 5 weeks, once your body gets used to a medication. my child is taking the amphet salts for the first time. need to know of examples of food to put it in, he isnt a big fan of applesauce. He really doesnt like textured foods and its a struggle getting him to eat in the mornings. I dont believe he could swallow it whole. ## The XR designates this as being a controlled release medication, so you do need to make sure to only put it in something innocuous, that isn't going to break it down and it should be consumed immediately. i am having a LARGE amount of hair loss since starting dextroamp-amphet er 20 mg. i do not see this as a common side effect on any of the lists i am finding. the hair loss started at the same time i started the medication, and i take no other meds? ## Have you talked to your doctor, or pharmacist? As you've noted, it isn't a typical side effect, but it is difficult to say how any medication may effect any given person that takes it. It is also possible that the hair loss could be due to something else entirely and not the medication, at all. It can occur due to stress, dietary changes and many other factors. My husband is in probation, has been doing random urine tests, and they did a hair follicle test that came back positive for methamphetamine. He has never had any drug but marijuana which he has been clean from for more than 6 months. What could have caused a positive test? He smokes cigars, and drinks red bull & monsters daily, and the super advanced whey protein. He drinks beer too. ## He also got a tetanus shot and was prescribed SMZ/TMP substitute for Bactrim. And took ibuprofen for cold.

I live in jackson, tn and i tried to get my 30mg adderall filled yesterday. The ONLY pharmacy that had any was CVS and it wasn't enough to total my rx. I was willing to forfeit some if i could just get what they had left so i don't have to drive all the way to memphis.. the "pharmacist" came to the window and told me they "don't do split prescriptions"..and this is way over the FDA regulations.. i tried to call the "dr" who prescribed this but there was no answer. "We cant....NO.. I WONT fill this rx.. this is an absurd amount... I WILL NOT FILL THIS." She slammed the drive thru window closed.
