Has anyone who takes name brand Adderall XR 30 mg - 2 x/day tried to take a drug holiday and if so, what are your side effects. I would like to try but I have a morphine pump at about 30 mg continuous release/day and think I might become comotose. I would really like to stop the adderall for a short time so it doesn't become less effective than it has already become and I have no idea what it can be relaced with. ## If you've been taking it for a long time, you may experience withdrawals, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, fatigue, and irritability, since it can be habit forming. I have noticed that by taking the amphetmine salts (adderall) for many years, my memory has deteriorated. I am 45 years old and that should not be. Has any testing been done to know if I am correct? It is strange. I am focusing & memory is strong w/the medication in my system, but as soon as it wears off, memory is very bad. ## It is most likely due to the withdrawal of it wearing off, according to NIH reports. Other withdrawal effects may include nausea, fever, chills, and anxiety. That is generally how it works with any stimulant medication. What dosage are you currently taking? Are you on any other medications? This one is most commonly used to treat ADHD.

I was taking 2 Adderall XR 30 mg. (60 mg total) very morning for years. I called for a refill a few months back and when I picked up the script, it was for Adderall IR. I questioned why the XR wasn't prescribed and the know it all NP told me that Adderall XR was NEVER given in that dosage and I was the first to request it. She said it was illegal to prescribe 2 Adderall XR to be taken in one day. She said that by taking two XR's that I was continually getting the medicine in my system 24 hours. I told her that I took both at the same time in the morning and she just freaked. Now, I see no difference...30 mg. how long does it take to get focalin out of your system? I have to take a ua that is labed and I want to know how long it takes till it gets out of your system so that it does not show up on a ua. or do they even test for focalin? ## I take focalin 10mg ir's along with concerta 36mg ERs, and a good many honestly. I have tested false positive on the last 2 tests and all I take is equate acid reducer and equate arthritis pain with acetaminophen. Can either of those be the reason? ## YES! call Zantac! The generic name of the acid reducer is ranitidine, and it causes false positives. They will confirm it for u. ## I tested positive for methamphetamine. I am perscribed adderall 30mg, I ran out of my adderall to soon because of someone stealing some of my medication,and I can't let my doctor know because he is already on my case about my living situation,I have only a half of day before its time for my drug screen, which if I just take a pill it will not have enough time to get into my system. Im looking for a non prescription pill that resembles M Amphet salts 20 mg. The generic for adderall. I want to cut my son back without him realizing it. The pharmacy gave it as a substitute for methylphenidate 27 mg. I tested positive for methamphetamine but I've never used it. Can a combination of adderall xr, clonazepam, synthroid, and cannabis cause a positive test meth test? The results are also stating I had phenylpropanelamine in my system. I looked it up, and it's found in decongestants, which I never took prior to the test on that day either. Could the cannibus have been laced with phenylpropanelamine? I use methamphetamine and have for 2 years. I have to do a blood tox screen. how long will it take to get it out of my blood? ## I am having gallbladder surgery in 2 days. I got Sandoz for the first time. Taken many other generics over the years. I have been awake for 48 hours. Can not sleep just lay in bed. I'm on 10mg four times daily. Last one taken 9 hours before. Racing thoughts and pointless projects since taking them. Feels some what the same when I tried crystal 10 years ago. Tried neighbors ambian to sleep, no effect. Anyone else have these issues? I went and had a urinalysis done, it came back positive for Methamphetamine. I took a dollar store pain reliever, sinus meds, and Seroquel. Could this cause a bad urine test? ## I had a positive result for amphetamine, amphetamines and methamphetamine. I do not do drugs !!! I am a nurse and lost my job. My daily medications are: 200 mcg synthroid in the morning, seroquel 100 mg at hs, Xanax 1 mg 3 times a day but only take 2 mg with seroquel at bedtime for sleep and occasionally 1 prn, 20 mg Lasik prn, 20 meq potassium prn, vitamin b-12 1 time a day, Sudafed prn, albuterol 2 puffs daily prn and had just had a work evaluation that I got excellent on all levels. Someone please explain to me why a company would do this !!!!

Okay, so I have a prescription that is exactly 1 month old tomorrow. It is for seven Vyvanse 50 mg and in 2 days I will be getting my normal monthly script for 60 mg Vyvanse. Can I fill the 50 mg for 7 days today without having a problem filling my original script of 60 mg for 30 days? ## Most likely not, it could be seen as suspicious, essentially you'd be going down in your dose, then suddenly back up. I used someone else's pee to pass a drug screen but some of my menstrual blood got in it and I'm wondering if its gonna make my screen come back positive for the drugs I've been taking. ## tappie, depending on how much blood got into the sample, you may have to retest anyway.
