Adderall Xr 60 Mg Drug Holidays

Has anyone who takes name brand Adderall XR 30 mg - 2 x/day tried to take a drug holiday and if so, what are your side effects. I would like to try but I have a morphine pump at about 30 mg continuous release/day and think I might become comotose. I would really like to stop the adderall for a short time so it doesn't become less effective than it has already become and I have no idea what it can be relaced with.

If you've been taking it for a long time, you may experience withdrawals, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, fatigue, and irritability, since it can be habit forming.

How are you doing? Why do you feel that it has become less effective?

There are other stimulants available on the market, such as Dexedrine, and Focalin. Your doctor should be able to help you explore other possible options.
