Thank you so much for your time! ## How longer does 70mg vyvance stay in your system ## Information I've gathered states that Vyvanse's half life is 12-13 hours; which means about 24 hours later you have metabolized an 'estimated' 75% or more of it. Effects are probably the best indicator: palpitations or high heart rate or eye dilation means you are still being affected. I HAVE ONLY BEEN TAKEN ADDERALL TAB 10 MG 1 TAB 1 X DAY FOR A MONTH. CAN NOT REACH MY DOCTOR, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE STEP DOWN PROCEDURE TO STOP TAKING THE ADDERALL. ## Usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, if possible. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. I don't know however if Adderall would fall into this category of medications that can be taken in fractioned doses. For this, I'd actually recommend asking your local pharmacy or primary care physician; because the severity of withdrawing from any drug is largely dependent on the individual's heal...

Looking for coupons for generic adderall 20 mg ## I'm sorry, but coupon and assistance programs aren't offered for generic medications, because by their intent, they are already cheaper than the name brand. In addition the company that manufactures the name brand product no longer offers a coupon or assistance program for it. Have you tried checking the price at various pharmacies in your area to find the lowest one possible?

I have been prescribed Adderal EX 3;20mg a day for ADD) I also took Lortab 5-500 every 4 hours for pain, I take prozac 40 mg, bupropionHCL 300mg, levothyroxine 25 MCG, Estratest full strength. pain releiver lollipop for mouth sores, I might have also taken 2 Extra strength Excedrine. could this combo cause me to pass out and have no pupil response and extreme disorientation? ## Did this happen to you? Is your doctor aware that you are taking all of these medications? I can't check the pain reliever lollipop, without knowing exactly what it contains. orange oval shape ## My 8 year old granddaughter has recently been prescribed the generic form of this medication after being on phenobarb since birth for seizure disorder. Have noticed a very hard time going to sleep, being very upset that something has happened to us and just seeming very down. she is also taking vyvance (?) for ADHD. Hate seeing her like this, very disturbing. i am on just plain methylphenidate 20 mg tabs. they don't seem to be as effective as they used to be. i was talking to my psychiatrist about switching to something else but he wasn't very agreeable about it. he said these types of drugs are getting more difficult to get. is this true? what is the difference between methylphenidate reg, sa & sr? could this all possibly have something to do with which pharmaseutical companies my doc deals with? ## The SR stands for sustained release, so the ones with that designation are a time release formulation, rather than a regular release, like what you are currently taking. What is happening with the production of methylin? ## Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you. There have been quite a few posts recently about being people being unable to get various medications, including Adderall and Oxycodone, so this is just another added to the list. Have you tried talking to your doctor about using an alternative medication?

Strange, normally when I take a 25 Aderrall XR I feel the effects and can study for hours on end...I was recently prescribed Vyvanse, but I still had some Aderrall left, so i took one 25 mg XR at about noon...didnt feel much, so i broke open another 25 XR and ate half...still nothing..so i ate the other half (at about 3 PM)...about an hour later I still felt very below average effects. So I took a 40 mg Vyvanse. Felt more focused, but nothing special. So I broke open another 40 MG and poured half (20 mg) into a glass of water. Drank that, and about an hour later still nothing, so I took the other half....and I still don't feel any effects! Not even average effects....very strange. I am 34 yrs old, and have had ADHD since I was a child. My ADHD has finally been controlled with Adderall, and quality of life has been so much better!!! Other drugs have given me terrible side effects, and was so happy that Adderall works for me, with no side effects. Now, I am unable to get it as there are severe drug shortages??? how long does vvyance stay in the system? how long do psychotic side effects last? ## Vyvanse's half life is about 9 and a half hours; give or take an hour or two. That means that in most people, the medication has some effect for up to 14 hours! There is really no way a doctor or anyone else can know ahead of time how any medication can affect anyone. The only way to find out is to actually try it and make these assessments based on how you feel. If the side effects are too severe however, I would highly recommend contacting your doctor about switching medications.
