Sandoz Has Everyone Back Ordered For Methylphenidate 20mg

Methylphenidate20mg has become impossible for CVS, plus Rite Aid and all other pharmacies in my area to get their orders filled. One pharmacist said this back-order is going to be a long one. What is going on with the Manufactors of the plain 20mg. tablet?

The three companies who manufacture the generic drugs
for Ritalin have been caught up in a number of lawsuits when people and doctors learned that they were being scammed by these companies. As I posted earlier, the physicians who prescribe these drugs for ADD in adults are finding their patients being turned away due to large back orders everywhere in my state. This process of non-production is being used as a tool to regain some of the money from the lawsuits. In return the patients are suffering from the inability to get their prescriptions which is the whole point of this action.I

Actually the current shortage is due to a problem getting the raw materials for manufacturing this medication. The companies have restarted production, but they are currently still short of meeting the current demand, until they are able to improve their supply.

As to the theory of this being done to recoup money lost in lawsuits, I am not sure how you think that their not selling the product is making them any money?
