My son and I have ADD. My health insurance will pay for my sons monthly perscription, but because I'm an adult, I have to pay FULL PRICE for my monthly perscrition, which gets very pricey. Why is this? ## I'm sorry, but I cannot answer that. I do not know who your insurance provider is and what medications are covered will vary from company to company and can also depend on the specifics of your coverage policy. There are some that will only cover medications that are considered life-sustaining. Have you tried asking your insurance provider? ## I posted a question about the availability of dextroamphetamine in Kirkland, WA 98034 and haven't gotten a response.

My kid is haveing problems in school. He was dignose with ADHD. The family doctor precribe metyhylphenidate. He is stell missbehaving. I would like to know what can I do, take him off the meds or try something else. ## Methylphenidate is used to treat ADHD, but not to directly control their behavior. However, have you consulted the doctor about the issue? It may not be the right dosage to help your child, or they may need to try a different medication.

What does this medicine do for children? ## I believe you meant to say Dexmethylphenidate, is this correct? No other results show up under "Dexmethylph". In adults and children alike, Dexmethylphenidate is used as a treatment for ADHD, ideally in conjunction with psychological, educational, behavioral or other forms of treatment. It is proposed that stimulants help ameliorate the symptoms of ADHD by making it easier for the user to concentrate, avoid distraction, and control behavior. Dexmethylphenidate may also improve listening skills and organization of tasks, and may help prevent tic disorders. I live on Minnesota and can't find another Doctor who will prescribe ADHD medication. Its been almost 4months and the piles are forming, appointments are being missed or late for or forgotten. All the symptoms are back. I also take Klonopin for anxiety and major panic disorder. If anyone knows a non-judgmental doctor I would be so grateful. ## That's not good. What reasons are they giving you for not prescribing the meds? How many doctors have you seen that will not prescribe? ## Have you tried a doctor that specifically deals with such mental health issues, rather than a general practitioner? Since the medications used for ADHD are controlled substances and they aren't specially trained to treat and prescribe for such conditions, many general doctors are very reluctant to p...

I am taking Intuniv as prescribed by my neurologist. I had an mri yesterday and was prescribed Valium .5mg. Why am I feeling so lathargic today? ## It may be from the Valium, if you aren't used to taking it. It is a Benzodiazepine and it can cause side effects, such as lethargy and drowsiness. Have you consulted your doctor?

IS THERE A RITALIN WITH A900 ON IT YELLOW OR PEACH TONED ## According to the U.S. drug databases, the answer to this question would be no. While there are yellow Ritalin pills, their marking is completely different than this. (There are no peach colored Ritalin pills in the drug databases either). Furthermore, the imprint "A900" is not listed as being anything in the drug databases. Odds are that the pill you are describing is manufactured outside of the U.S. or possibly that the imprint was misread. I don't think this is an OTC medication either as I can't locate any related possibilities on google. If you're able to, I would consider taking the pill over to your local pharmacy and having it analyzed by their team to see if they can come up with anything. And as a l...

What country is Amphetamine 15mg cap tev > generic for- Adderall xr 15mg cap made in? ## HAS Generic Adderall XR been discontinued????? ## I'm getting no where on this one. . . I would like to know what D-Amphetamine ER 15mg looks like. What it's purpose is. Where is is made. What the side effects are good / bad. ## Wilma, the tablet you posted about lists Tev, which indicates that it's manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they are based in the U.S. They have manufacturing facilities in several states. Greta, no, it has not been discontinued, but there is a shortage at this time. Chere, the reason you are not getting an answer is most likely because you are not providing enough information. Never had that happen before. And I know adderall and such so ever ward of this any ideas? white round scored one one side. Other side has large muti letter Cc as like a symbol ## Did you mean a GG imprint? Yes, there are Methylphenidate tablets with the GG logo on them, it's a generic for Ritalin that's manufactured by Sandoz. However, there should be additional numbers and it's only by knowing those that I would be able to tell you definitively what your tablets contain. Can you please post back with more information?

can you split a ER 20 mg pill of ritalin in half? (sz 780) ## No, the ER stands for extended release, which means it is a time released formulation and cutting or crushing the tablets could result in your getting too much of the medication, at once. This could result in an overdosage. Is there anything else I can help you with?

Wondering what these are mostly made with.. both I believe are quad stack.. maybe triple... one is pinkish red round pill with carved in six point star with dark speckles thru it. The other is an orange round pill with the batman logo carved on top also has dark speckles throughout it. ## From what I can find, both have been discovered with testing kits to contain MDMA, which is adulterated with Amphetamines, however, the MDMA is listed as being a very low amount. Are there any other questions or comments?

How does d amphetamine salt com xr 30 mg caps differ from n amphet salt 30 mgs ? ## The "D Amphetamine salt com XR" (30 mg) is an extended release version of the drug, manufactured by BARR. You mentioned that the other caps were called "N Amphetamine salt" (30 mg), but when I look that up it shows up as "M Amphetamine salt" standing for "Mixed Amphetamines". From what I could gather, that seems to be the only major difference between the two you mentioned. Other minor differences might include a difference in inactive ingredients between the Mixed version and the Extended Release version or a change in manufacturer's. Hi- my name is Wendy. I'm 36 years old, and I've been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder Type II, Adult ADHD, Anxiety Disorder, & AntiSocial Disorder.I take Symbiax for Bipolar Disorder,Klonipin for Anxiety Disorder, and just switched from Adderall to Vyvanse for my ADHD. While I was taking Adderall, I suffered from severe mood swings, especially when I would come down off of it, & my behavior really took a turning point after I had to start taking the pill form (or salts) because of insurance purposes. I started imagining things, and became so paranoid that I felt like everyone was "out to get me", and everything people would say to me or about me was somehow negative. The pharmacy where I got my prescriptions filled even told me that my doctor had me on an extreme...

no insurance need coupon for Adderall xr 5mg ## I'm sorry, but there are no current coupons available for this and the manufacturer, Shire Pharmaceuticals, no longer offers an assistance program for any forms of Adderall. Have you discussed it with your doctor? There are generic formulations available of the regular release formulation.

I found a pill in my 16 year olds room, and need help. There are no markings at all on pill, which this had made it very diffucult to try and find via internet. It is oblong in shape and has 3 colors. From left to right...pink, white, gray. If anyone has any information reguarding this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you ## sounds like a time release concerta, add medication ## i found a similar pill, is the pink much stripe much thiner than the white? ## try your pharmacy they will have the right answer it sounds like a over the counter med, i think tylenol has something like that. all though i might be wrong. ## if you are really concerned do a drug test on your child you can get one at your local pharmacy. it's better to be wrong and be too late.

I went to see a doctor because i suspected i could have A.A.D.D. So the doc didnt give me ritalin or adderal, he instead gave me some Tan/light brown gel pill with no markings at all and when I cut inside, i found some oil and dark brown paste. I dont know what these are for, but i looked all over the web, ive had no luck. i just want to know what im taking is legit and not some placebo... ## You didn't ask him what they were? They weren't prescribed, or in a pharmacy labeled bottle? That is very odd and without any markings, it is going to be very difficult to determine what they contain. To be quite honest, all manufactured prescription products approved in the U.S. have to have imprints to enable their identification, so we can rule it out as being one of those. However, it c...
