small white round tablet with an arrow head under an S on one side and 256 on the other side any idea what they are cleaning out medical cabinet in house and have no idea as in unlabeled bottle

Hi Amy,

The only pill I've been able to locate that somewhat matches this description is a small oval pill with the imprint 256. This pill is Carvedilol (12.5 mg); which is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, angina, atrial fibrillation, and left ventricular dysfunction. The most common side effects include dizziness, fatigue, hypotension, diarrhea, asthenia, bradycardia, and weight gain.

I've searched and searched some more, but I still haven't been able to located a pill with an S 256 imprint. Do you think the pill's imprint could've been damaged or tampered with at some point?
