I have been on Viibryd since Nov 1 2011. I began with the started pack (10mg/7 days , 20mg 7days then 40 mg). After being on it for 2 days my anxiety was TERRIBLE on the 40mg. I am now on 20mg and feeling pretty damn good...better than I have in years. Psychiatrist has agreed to keep me on 20mg and we will re-evaluate later.
My question is: are any of you on 20mg and staying there? If so, what are the pros and cons? How are you feeling...does it feel like that dose is enough?

I have been on 10mg for a week and just sitting down getting ready to take 20mg for the first time. Anxiety has been high, diarrhea and insomnia have been prevalent For the past two or three days. I am remaining positive that this is the drug for me!

I've been on 20mg for a year. I was seeing my Dr. every month now I'm every two and a half months. I do have vivid dreams, however I have not been physically sick from the med. I do notice if I forgot one day I am emotional the next, but my sensitivity stops the next day.

Just want to see if you are taking the pill with a full meal? I am on 20mg and have had IBS stuff for several years so I am quite sensitive to this medicine. I usually take a ute or two of breakfast, take the pill, then finish my meal. usually oatmeal with banana. this helps me a lot; there's no way I could tolerate the stomach pain and digestive/stool problems without the meal.

20 mg for over 2 years eery morning before breakfast not a problem. I must take med by 8 a.m. or I have problems going to sleep at 11 p.m. so far...weight stayed the same. Would love it it helped to lose weight. I have missed a day once in a while but have not experienced any problems because I took one the next day.

I begin with the starter pack and worked my way up to 30mg using sample packs. Just got a script filled a week ago of the 40mg and began having terrifying nightmares and sleep paralysis! Also a loud zapping and popping in my ears when I would begin to fall asleep, and when I would FINALLY actually go to sleep the night terrors are so intense. They are demonic in nature and when I do fight myself awake I'm terrified of falling back asleep! Has any one else had these results on the 40mg?? Putting a call In to my doctor to see about cutting the 40mg in Half and just taking 20mg because I had none of these effects on the 20mg. Someone please answer me if you have the same issue on 40mg, I feel like I'm going crazy at night!!!

Have you tried 20 at night and 20 in the morning? My issue is still some anxiety in the am. I currently take 30mg in the pm and I have very vivid dreams. But really bad if I take a nap mid day.

No it doesn't cause weight gain I am on 40 mg and I have zero side effects. I have been on it for 4 months so maybe that will change later on.

I have been taking 40 for about four weeks now I take at night cause then I don't feel jittery if I take it in day time, I feel like I am on speed or somthing weird like I feel jittery and hot I hate it. So I guess I will keep taking it at night. I don't feel it's helping much.

You think it's a bit too early to tell since I'm in my second day of 20mg. I felt a bit of improvement but, today, due to work, I kind experienced some anxiety to the point I had to take an ativan.
What dosage are you on and how is it working for you?

Thanks again. My doc told me it usually takes about 2 weeks for most of his patients to feel the benefits, I'm 3 days into my 2nd week at 20mg and I do feel some difference, but still a bit of anxiety here and there. I also need to take ativan when the anxiety is really bad but I'm hoping the Viibryd will really help me avoid using it often.
When did you start splitting the dosage, like in your 3rd week being on Viibryd?

I was tapering off Zoloft while going onto Viibryd. So it was a little different. I'm still on 20. But it's just spaced 12 hrs apart. Everyone is diff. Just give it time.
