2012 Oxycodone 30mg Shortage In Florida (Page 19)

My spouse, who is in severe, chronic pain, has been a customer of Walgreens for many years. We live in Pinellas County, Florida. Everyday this week we have driven from Walgreen's to Walgreen's trying to fill his prescription for Roxicodone 30mg, to no avail. I cannot get any help from his regular pharmacy. I know that it's dangerous for them to tell a total stranger which store has them in stock, but I don't understand since they know him, why they can't call around or give us any assistance. I am at a total loss as to what to do & would appreciate any information that you could provide. It is so hard to see him in so much pain. Thank you.

@ yoyo, oxycodone, which includes roxycodone, oxycontin and percocet. Dilaudid and morphine are also class 2 narcotics. Class 3 are Vicodin, loratab all generic for hydrocodone. Class 4 are the benzo's, xanax, valium etc. From what I've read in a few forums, even hard to fill class 3's too. You can search classes of drugs to find out what meds fall into which class. Peace.

It isnt gonna matter if all you dont get off your butt and get mad because by January none of us are gonna be able to get a Tylonal with codine unless your half dead in hospise and thats a FACT!!!!! The doctors hands are tied too, they cant help it, they are worried to its there life also! If you people dont stop whinning on here and do something about it!!! @done playin, my spouse is in his 4th rejection due to his donated heart. Not everyone can go, it doesn't mean we're giving up or not as angry as you. I see some are lashing out at each other on here too. I wouldn't lash out at anyone who is trying and spreading the word that this org exists. If everyone got involved in this, anyway they can, it would make a difference. No one should simply count someone out of the fight bc they can't attend the rally.

omg I would love to go to rally I AM IN TOO MUCH PAIN to get out of bed.Those of you who can go thank you from us who can not.And if thats not good enough than tell me where to get my meds and I'll go.I bet alot of others would too.panicpain you take care of hubby,he needs you more.United we stand divided we fall.Remember that saying.

I live in Brandon...just outside of Tampa. I'm not familiar with the state of FL. Can someone give me the exact address so I can possibly attend?? I am going to try my best to get there but it is very hard for me to drive long distances as I can't get comfortable with my back and have nerve damage in my entire right side....soo everything bothers me to sit for a long period of time. Anyhow....I would love to go and support us "Legit" Pain patients because if Every Pain Med is going to be taken away from us here in Florida...we better ALL start packing somehow and Move somewhere where we will be treated fairly and respect as pain pts and given a better quality of life. It is hard enough taking care of myself trying to get out of bed...shower...cook something to eat...But...I also have 2 children to TRY and take care of. Thank God my 12 yr old is SOOO helpful with his 2 yr old Sister...otherwise I would feel Really guilty for not doing Anything with her as my Husband is only home on weekends because of his job. God Bless U all..I know what its like to suffer and worry/panic to not be without meds. What a God Awful feeling. Lisa

donna ratillf or whatever is full of s*** i was part of her group it was so dumb and fake they are all junkies trying to act like they are better then everyone else when i no she is a junkie off rip so what im saying is donna ratillf has been dregging people along this whole time with fake hope she just makes up s*** its been 6 months or better now and she couldnt help anyone on here like she said she could my doc has herd all about her and what she is doing they all say she is makeing it worse to the point where we wont have any meds why???? cause she is calling people and b****ing and those are not the people she should be calling so what they started doing was fighting agaisnt her now and she doesnt have the brain to hang with these people that she thinks was going to help her plus she has a brain no bigger then a field mouse she doesnt make any sence at all she got put down by a pharamiist in a chatroom who told her that the paper she wrote up was not professional at all and that she needed to fix it also they said she is after the pharmist they say she is wrong all i no is i followed donna rattilf for 2 months and she couldnt provide any help at all my doctor said that this month the dea and federal judges are ready to make a big step towards pain meds and its not looking good at all for us oxycodone lovers they say donna ratilf started something she has no clue what the hell she is doing so all in all she is the reason why in 3 months no one will have oxycodone better get use to injections if not oxycodone 5 mg tabs will be aloud also tremadol has been approved to treat major pain issues they say also some will get injections with a medication that will work and will last up to 3 weeks per shoot or longer and it doesnt go trew the spine so im up for it hell yea but donna is f***ing alot of stuff up my doctor said he follows all her stuff online and said that she needs to pass the job on to someone else cause she has a education of a 3 year old sorry donna but its true u are the one hurting us slowly but surely so please stop your the main junkie

i wish oneday everyone of yall get robbed and shot in the head but i dont want yall to die i want you to suffer you are so full of s*** this is a game to you pharmaist and if they keep pushing me ima do it myself and thats on god 4 time loser anit got nothing to lose unfourtinatly i still get my oxycodone 30 mg 180 qty 120~ 15mg oxycodone also and 180 domes but i had to wheel and deal with my pharmacey and i anit scared to say it but i pay 200 dollars to the lady who fills my meds and thats for her pocket then i pay a total of 230 dollars for everything else but its worth it to me and this is walgreens we are talking about so all i can say is there will be alot of herion around also alot of armed robberys at pharmaceys hopefully with death please jessus

good luck in st lucie county this month. had no trouble last month...this month the cvs pharmacy acted like i didnt exist or ever there. so my doc had to switch meds to something they did have-though much weaker than last month...forget about the 30mg roxies...havent seen them in a while except from illegal drug dealers who sell them. what a joke if we want pain relief you know have to get off the street. what is america coming too.

thank the DEA Office for allowing all the side road paper Mills to stay open thats why there is no pharmacy you can get them at cause of all the young druggies in this state an allowing them to come from all other states to get them-they should close everyone of them like renewed life clinic of holiday that starts every person that went there with 240 30mg oxycodones-60 40mg oxycottins-60 350g somas an 30 10mg valium like any 18yr oild to 35yr old needs this type of meds,an they wonder why the young kids are robbing an killing an Dying from Over Dosing,Until the state of florida closes the paper mill pushers its going to get worse for the people that have real pain-like me at 53 2 major back surgeries an neck surgery in chronic pain daily an thanks to all the people in the DEA office just sitting on there asses an l34etting them continue to give the kids Drugs to ruin there life

I couldnt have said it any better. As a chronic pain patient living in hell since 2011...dea has ruined lives of innocent people like us legit patients. thanx to all those fine upstanding citizens selling these oxycodone for 40$ a pill now, there loving the lack of competition...they get to charge 40 when they use to charge 20. now, a real patient with multiple neck/jaw/face/spine surgeries get to suffer for the foreseeable future untill things change here in florida.
and you can thank all the out of state junkies and people going in with there bullsht mri's and getting more meds then ive ever been prescribed and im the legit one.
really depressing right now for chronic patients...we are the ones that will suffer and continue to suffer until something changes...

What the hell does age have to do with anything? Are you saying ppl ages 18-35 (I am 34) can not have sustained injuries severe enough (such as yours) to require the use of pain medication on a regular basis in order to live a somewhat decent quality of life. People of ALL ages get into accidents!! People of all ages contract debilitating diseases! Your comment makes no sense!! Also....DRUG ABUSERS COME IN ALL AGES!!

@941btown...Well said. I am 31....Got into a horrible accident just shy of my 18th Birthday. Held off on Pain Mgt and did EVERYTHING else I possibly could for the 1st 5 yrs. Started Pain Mgt 8 yrs ago. Without it....I would NEVER be able to care for my children. Not an abuser...just a Chronic pain sufferer...even with my meds. Age ain't nothing but a number. Medical documents... are what matter. My files are the thickest at ALL my Drs. Horrible!!
