Yellow Pill With Black 40 On One Side

i found under my fridge a yellow round small pill with 40 on one side in dark letering, any idea what it is? ## Is there any chance that there's a marking "OC" on the other side of the pill? The closest match I'm finding is a round yellow pill imprinted with 40 on one side and OC on the other; identified as OxyContin (40mgs). I have some pills they are football shaped and are light beige they say 40 in black on one side but have no other markings. What are they please? ## I'm sorry, but I can't find a listing in any of our resources for a pill that meets this description and has just the number 40 on it. Where was it found/obtained? Do you have any other information on it? If there is nothing else to the imprint, this leads me to believe that it is, more than likely, something available over the counter. However, there is also a small chance that it might be a foreign medication. Does anyone recognize this tablet? ## i have them too, but they are supposed to be my refill of Protonix. My 17-year-old niece has always thrived in school...lately, we have noticed that she has been hanging out with different kids. My sister (her mom) is worried. She found a couple of pills in her bedroom and we are trying to find out what they could be before panicking. They are round and coated, yellowish with 40 (in black) but no other markings. A parent says there's talk of Oxy's among students. Could this be Oxy or could it be another medication? Could such a pill be a real medication but sold on the street as Oxy? Trying to identify small capsules half green and one half yellow. Yellow end has very small writing in red.
