The pill imprint IG 213 is in fact 50mgs of Sertraline. I actually had my script filled with those and thought they were "purple footballs" (Xanax), but I looked a little closer and noticed that the numbers weren't normal. So I looked them up online as well and found out to my dismay that Sertraline 50mg is a generic of Zoloft used for depression. My mother in law is very ill. I am a stay at home mom so I am her caregiver during the day. My brother in law picked up her meds from the pharmacy yesterday and when I went to give her the 2 mg xanax bar I noticed it was different than usual. I tried looking it up but haven't been able to find anything. It is a white bar with three lines on one side there is a "Y" and the other side there is a "12". They are white. Has anyone seen these before? Are they new? I'm hesitant on giving it to her before I know for sure that it is definitely xanax. My brother in law never gave me a reason to worry about this but nothing surprises me anymore. Hope this helps ## According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, these yellow R039 by Actavis are in fact generic 2mg Alprazolam (IR) tablets. For verification, the National Drug Code is 00228-2039; and if you follow the NDC link there's also an image of the said tablet. Okay so I got a bottle of alprazolam 2mg bars they have a Y side and a 2 1 on the back I've never actually went through all my pills and looked at the scoring and put them side-to-side and flip them over to the back however some I had broken in half and needed to match them up when I did this I noticed that when I flip the pillow over some of the pills we're upside down meaning some pills had a y upwards and some had a y downwards is that normal when you're making a pill in a pharmacy for that to happen I had taken one pill today before I realized and now I'm scared ## I got a prescription and I have the same thing. I have sertraline, the pill has an imprint if IG on one side and 214 on the other. It is oblong and a very light yellow color. I have read something about the two being the same. Ok I've been taking Xanax for years, the green bars in my opinion r weak. The blue r strongest as white one also. The yellow I'd say r number 3 in strength. Don't care for the green ones at all. I believe the Ig 23 should not be labeled as 'Xanax' as it is highly misleading. There is no way it can be considered a Xanax.
