What must i do to be prescribed mirinol for glacoma ## hi terry. I'm in Wisconsin too and I have a sneaking suspicion I know the reason. Also due to that price i bet the pharmacy Or clinics refuse to stock it. your possibly a terminal patient as the only time I've seen it prescribed was for a few terminal friend. Back 4 or 5 years ago before California and Colorado and the legalization movement I remember a friend that showed me a cost price of 4800.00$$ on a 120 count 10 mg bottle..for a one 1 month supply! lol probably those high research and fda costs theyre passing on right. Nowadays the emerging extracts Industry may be an option for you but not legally in Wisconsin of co...

I'm on disability and I can't get my hydrocodone's. Most pain doctors that take Medicaid turned me down and won't even see me. I made a mistake about five years ago and failed the drug panel and now I can't find a pain doctor. How long can they hold this against me and what should I do? ## It is in your medical records, so it's going to stick with you for life and due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, doctors have to be even more strict about prescribing such medications, now. The only thing that might help is if you have a PCP that supports you and will vouch for you, who could refer you to a pain management specialist. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, diz...

Hello...My insurance has changed, and I currently have no set mental health coverage available to me. I am looking for a psychiatrist who can continue prescribing the adderall I have been taking for a couple of years. Would have to be a private pay, or sliding scale etc...I do have prescription coverage. Does anybody have a person they would recommend that supports using medication as part of ADHD therapy? ## Hello, Lana! Have you found a new doctor, yet? There's really no listing stating that any certain doctor will prescribe medications that I can refer to in order to suggest someone for you. Learn more Adderall details here. Will your current doctor no longer see you, without insurance? Does anyone know of a good doctor in that area?

I had a Cervical Fusion in 2002 in another state from where I presently live. Ever since the surgery, I have been in the most horrific pain. (Please bear with me while I explain...) Unfortunately, my surgeon screwed up the C5/C6 Cervical Fusion so bad that, as a result, I am in so much more pain now than prior to the surgery. Excruciating, unbearable, horrific pain. Years later post surgery, I found out that he was the 'kingpin' (what the newspapers and court documents stated) of a ring of doctors that kept patients in their little circle. Patients were unwittingly kept inside this circle of doctors, tossed back and forth like a toy, and then surgeries were performed. Purposefully accumulating all that expense, and then OVER-BILLING the insurance companies was their game... then...

I need help getting through this tough time & my current Psychiatrist has completely changed from when I first started seeing him about 2 years ago. He used to let me just talk to him about any...

I have been prescribed methadone since 2009 for nerve and chronic pain. I have had 7 surgeries need 2 more major surgeries, have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, degenerative disease, cervical spondylosis, and severe osteoarthritis of the joints. My doctor referred me to pain management due to personal opinion and unsure how to treat me. Have had inj's., therapy, recently my nerve burnt and received different pain medications - which none have worked or I had reactions to them. The only thing that has worked is Lyrica and Methadone. This clinic has taken me from 130 mgs to 80 mgs in a 5 month period. Ignoring my request that I still have a lot of chronic pain. I have searched and called numbers to get yet another pain management doctor and no one will keep your dosages, only weanin...

Greetings, I am a 57 year old female patient who is currently on 160 mg of oxycontin per day. I have SEVERE osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia, and I have had three a surgeries sine 2004--all bone related. I M currently staving off a double knee replacement and lower back surgery for severe stenosis. There are days I can barely walk. The most recent issue I have is a collapsed arch in my right foot which is protruding through the bottom of my foot. I have medical records to back up all of these conditions. I am still able to work and hold a full time job; however, my doctor has recently moved to help his parents in another state and so far, no doctor is willing to treat me. Even if I willingly work with him her to decrease my level of medication to a lower dose. Even the pain clinic has turne...

I am most likely going to be moving to Wisconsin and I wanted to know if it is as bad there as it is here in Florida for chronic pain patients who take opiods. Here the problem is no pharmacies will fill the prescriptions. I have had chronic pain for 5 years and lost my career due to it and am now on disability. I do not ABUSE my meds and have never got in any trouble. I do not take very strong meds one of them is a schedule 3. and the schedule2 is a very low dose. I do not see getting injections as other people have said that alot of doctors do because i have pain everywhere and i have got shots in my neck years ago that were worthless also in my feet that did nothing. ## It is the same all over the U.S. New regulations were put in place last year and people having been encountering pr...

Hey, I have been prescribed adderall for the last 10 years, but recently I was abruptly cut off. This was due to an illegal invasion of my privacy, and I have severe add/adhd. As a result, I'm about to lose my college investment. I also am in a methadone maintenance program, but I desperately need my add meds. back to regain my executive functioning skills. I have never abused my adderall and my records concur. Is there a recommended doctor in eastern Wisconsin that will prescribe adderall and xanax in conjunction with one another? In addition, they must be ok with prescribing to a patient already is in a methadone program, due to an opiate addiction. I have severe anxiety as well, and I was just about to graduate with a dual-degree from a prestigious university until I was abruptly...

I have had adult onset narcolepsy/EDS (excessive daytime sleepiness) for 2 years and have tried almost all anti-depressants to try to alleviate the problem. I recently completed a sleep study and they found no sleeping disorders, so everything points to narcolepsy. My psychiatrist has been extremely unhelpful so it's time to find a new doctor. I live in northern Wisconsin but am willing to travel anywhere in the midwest to get real help. Please help if you can, need an effective neurologist or psychiatrist. ## Hello, Charley! How are you? I am on medicare in Wisconsin. I am on ms contin er 15mg tablets. I get them at cvs. I'm wondering if there is any way to get them cheaper? Seems like discounts aren't often allowed on medicare. ## Hi Jet, I'm not sure if Medicare allows patients to use pharmacy coupons in conjunction with their service, but I did want to add that MedsChat offers a free Rx Savings Card that can be used at over 60,000 pharmacies nationwide for an average discount of 15-75% off your medication. It might be worth presenting it at your next refill just to see what the dollar cost comes out to. If the savings outweighs what medicare provides, it may be practical to use it instead. Another idea is to ask the pharmacy about any patient assistance programs that the manufacturer offers (if any). I ho...

Just got on state insurance here in Wisconsin and they will pay for 3 months of medical treatment that i have already paid for including my methadone treatment. The clinic is supposed to reimburse me but I've been waiting more than double the 4 to 6 weeks they said it would take. I keep calling and asking but nothing seems to be happening, they just say that it was approved and they're waiting for the check from corporate. Has this happened to anyone else and if so how long did it take you to get your money? P.s. how much is a 3-month reimbursement?

I am on a regime from wisconsin pain clinic it works great and I get a quality of life. The AR doctors want to screw around with something that works. I need a Dr. to pick up where other drs were doing and now AR dont want to RX oxycontin or oxycodone. What is the beef? Where can I go. ## The main problem is that it is a medication that is quite commonly diverted and abused. Thus, it is under strict government control and all prescriptions they write for controlled substances must be reported to the federal government. If, for some reason, the government thinks they prescribed it for the wrong reasons, then they can face serious sanctions or the loss of their medical license. In this case, you really can't blame doctors for being extra careful. Did you bring your medical records and...
