Is auro-metformin blackberry 500mg the same pill as RXP 500mg metformin, just flavored with blackberry? ## Hello Betty, The Auropharma manufacturers page only shows the ingredients for the 500mg metformin and does not list the inactive ingredients. This leads me to believe that the two are the same but one is simply given a blackberry flavoring for those that do not like the medicines bitter taste. Below are the active ingredients. • Crospovidone • Magnesium stearate • Polyethyleneglycol 3350 • Polyvinyl alcohol • Povidone • Talc • Titanium dioxide I hope this helps.

What's the name and what's it used for? ## Hi Chetniks, Just out of curiosity, what shape is this pill you're describing? So far, the closest match I've seen is a round white pill imprinted with L434 on one side and scored on the back. [Pseudoephedrine 60mg + Triprolidine 2.5mg]. I've also seen an oblong white pill imprinted with L484 - albeit the 8 could probably be mistaken for a 3 depending on the condition of the pill. [Acetaminophen 500mg] Lastly, I've also come across an oblong white pill imprinted with 44 334. [Acetaminophen 250 mg + Aspirin 250 mg + Caffeine 65 mg] Do any of these sound like a remote possibility? ## White oblong pill with 4434 on one side and blank on the other. White oblong Watson 333 on one side and a line on the other. ## What strenght is this?Watson 333 ## @Edward, The only pill I found with a marking of Watson 333 is a 1mg Lorazepam tablet, prescribed for anxiety disorders. It's also round, not oblong in shape. However there are some pain pills that are white and oblong, including Watson 388 (Hydrocodone 2.5mg + Acetaminophen 500mg) as well as Watson 853 (Hydrocodone bitartrate 10mg + Acetaminophen 325mg). Is there any chance you may have misinterpreted the imprint based on its physical condition? Hope this helps!

can someone tell me what it is ## Hi Debbie, Depending on whether or not your pill is blue or white (and round) it could be either of these two options: If the pill is white and round then it contains: Acetaminophen (500 mg) Acetaminophen by itself is used primarily in the treatment of pain and fever. If the pill is blue and round then it contains: Acetaminophen (500 mg) + Phenylephrine (5 mg) Acetaminophen + Phenylephrine is used in the treatment of headaches, sinus symptoms, and nasal congestion.
