White Round Antibiotic Pill No Marking

Round white antibiotic pill prescribed for cat (11 lbs.); was divided in half; told to give cat half the pill. No markings on pill. ## Have you tried asking the veterinarian that prescribed it? If there are no markings, anything we suggest would just be guesswork as to what it may be. Prescription medications for human use are required to have markings to enable their identification, but I really have no idea what laws apply to medications for pets, so I have no idea if the same thing applies.

My vet prescribed amoxicillin for my dog, and the pills he gave me are thin, circular white tablets with no imprint what so ever. Are prescription medications for animals not required to have any identifying marks on them? ## That is correct, they aren't required to have markings and come from the same FDA approved sources that human pills come from. The typical canine side effects for antibiotics may possibly include nausea, vomiting, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

Large, about the size of my thumb, pill from Mexico. I'm pretty sure it is an antibiotic. Probably ciprofloxacin but I want to be sure. It was put in a contudol diclofenaco bottle because the pharmacy said it would not pass the boarder in the orginal bottle. It is scored on one side and no other markings (numbers or letters) ## The pharmacy didn't tell you what it was? Without any markings, it is going to be difficult to identify. Problems like this are just one of the hazards of buying medications from Mexico, there is also no way to be certain of their purity and safety.

Please help identify tan round pill, four scored with B in one corner and 68 in another or if turned could be an 86, scored on one side only. tan with tiny white specles. Thanks so much ## The area this pill was found in is New Jersey. Again, it's a fairly large four scored pill with B in one corner and 68 in another. It is tan with very tiny white speckles. If the pill were turned it could be 98. It is scored on one side only. Thank you. ## I'm sorry, but I can't find any listings for this in our U.S. prescription drug resources, I also don't see any other posts about it on our site. With such an unusual marking, it leads me to suspect that it is either an over the counter item, or a foreign medication. Does anyone recognize this tablet? ## Its a antibiotic for dogs ## ...

Well half of my bottom tooth on the left side in the back has broken off and the other half is still there and it is soooooo killing me. ## Um....I think you need to go to the dentist get it fixed. ## A round, white tablet with the marking E 22 contains 100mgs of Orphenadrine, which is a muscle relaxant, so it won't help with dental pain. NDC 00185-0022 Thus, I have to agree with Janice, you need to see a dentist to have this fixed, if you are in that much pain, it is most likely due to an infection, which will require a round of antibiotics to treat, then the repair or extraction of the tooth. Alternatively, you could have an exposed nerve, which will also require proper treatment How long ago did it break off?

I caught my brother stealing Vicodin that I had left over from my C-section. Going through his backpack we also found large round white pills with 562 on one side and only scored on the other side. I know he is prescribed Trazadone for sleep and was recently given some sort of antibiotics. Can anyone tell me what this particular pill may be. I thought it may be acetominophen and codein. ## I'm sorry, but I can't find a listing for anything with just a 562 on it, in our U.S. prescription drug resources. There is, however, a Trazodone tablet with a 5600 on it, that is scored on the other side, with the marking DAN DAN on the scored side. Could that possibly be the tablet you found?
