I was originally prescribed the White pill with 831 [Metoprolol] (MFR Watson) and changed to a mail order pharmacy and they sent White pill with 735 [Metoprolol]. Can someone please help me out... I'm 20 years old, also married with a 2 year old. I've been trying to get my 42 year old dad to stop his drug habit. Since I have been little he has been doing drugs...first pain pills...then 250 mg of methadone but going to the clinic & getting take homes also... Of course..... (he abused the methadone)...since then.... its been what ever he can get his hands on. I have a 2 year old and my 42 year old father still lives with my grandmother. He has overdosed OVER 3 times in the past 5 months. The last time he overdosed he died on my grandmothers floor. He "slept" over 10 hour's. My grandmother thought he was just sleeping it off like he normally did..... but then she notice he wasn't breathing right and she then calls 911 for...

The one with the M 50 is Metoprolol Extended Release 50 mg (possibly tartrate). It is still basically the same beta blocker, high blood pressure medicine.
