Someone have me this pill for my back pain and said it's a vicodin but I can't find it anywhere in the pill identifiers and I am afraid to take it. It has a capital a on one side and on the other side is a 1 4...white and oblong shaped can anyone tell me what it is!?! ## A tablet with an A on one side and 14 on the other, that is white and oval shaped contains 1,000mgs of Metformin, which is an oral antidiabetic medication and not a narcotic of any type. I have half a pill, I know Ive taken the other half in the past but don't remember what it is. What I can see (now keep in mind its only half a pill) R on one side and 3 on the other, Not sure of what else would have been written on the pill... Any ideas? ## I'm finding way too many different variations of numbers and possibilities when I research white oval pills, with an R on one side and a 3 on the other. Do you know whether or not the pill has a score line, or even perhaps some measurements (in millimeters) of the half pill, to help get a better idea of its actual size in relation to other white oval pills? However, if your puppy is in that bad of shape after taking it, I would just encourage you to contact a local vet as soon as possible in hopes that they can prescribe something to help detox whatever it was from his body. In either case, I get the impression that the effects of the medication would probably wear off after each passing day. I need to find out what this is FAST!! I was walking through a parking lot with my two puppies, and we came up on a pile of pills that had been spilled & just left there. One of them may have picked one up and ate it, so I'm flipping out. We took the pill to walgreens, but they couldn't figure out what it was. It is a white, oval pill one side has the numbers 014, and the other side had like half of an upside down triangle with a 'p' in it. The pill is white, oval shaped, kind of fat and there are no other imprints on it. Just 149 in blue. ## Hello Suzi, When you say oval shaped is it an oval or a capsule shaped pill? I ask because you say the 149 is in blue which leads me to believe that the pill is actually a capsule with blue writing. I would need this information so that I can get a solid match for your pill, so far all I've been able to find is a blue circular tablet with 149 imprinted in it and I doubt that is what you're describing. I recently had a baby and was prescribed Hydrocodone 500 MG. When I looked at the pills in the bottle yesterday there are 2 different pills in there. One being Hydrocodone and the other is unidentified so I am looking to get some help to prevent hurting my breast feeding baby!
