Small oval, white pill, blank on one side, capital C on the other? ## Based on the description provided I was able to find a match to a white oval pill marked with "C"; however there is no image to go with it that confirms this. It is said to be identified as Carbaglu (200 mg); which is used in the treatment of hyperammonemia. Manufacturer: Orphan Europe National Drug Code (NDC): 52276-0312 Learn More: Carbaglu Details I hope this helps! ## What David posted is a good possibility. But this is a rather vague imprint, so it's kind of hard to be certain. I recently had a bottle of vitamin C tablets that also matched this description, so there is a chance that it may just be an over the counter product. Learn more vitamin c details here. Where did you find it?

I'm looking thru a lot of old pills looking for antibiotics. I see pills with the letters and number CYP194. Can someone please help me find out what they are? Thanks. ## This tablet is manufactured by Cypress Pharmaceutical and they list it as being a prenatal vitamin. The FDA warns that it may cause nausea, in some people, due to its potency. Is there anything else I can help with?

Ive searched and searched to find out what this pill could be. Even took to a local pharmacy and they could not find it. It's a small/med white oval pill with ONLY the letter C on one side of it. No other markings at all. Can someone please help me figure out how to find out what this is??? Thx!!! ## The imprint it very obscure and I'm guessing the reason that no one has found it is because it is most likely an over the counter product. They are not required to log their imprints with the FDA for identification purposes. I recently had some high dose vitamin C tablets that met this description, so you may have found one of them, or it could be something else. Learn more Vitamin C details here. large white oval, no imprint, just a line down the middle on one side ## Oval pill with no writing, just a line down the middle on one side. ## A white long and a little tick rektangulare pill with only one line which go downward. And just whithe and plane on the other side. It's nothing else. ## Hello, While I won't be able to identify the pill for you with the description you gave I can at least give you some information that will help you narrow it down. We can rule out the possibility of it being a controlled medication due to the fact that it does not have an identifiable imprint/marking which is an FDA requirement. Vitamins/Supplements/Dietary pills all do not have to have imprints so it is most likely one of these three. The reason I mentioned earlier that I would not be ...

Oval white pill HYL on one side C L on the other side? ## Oval white pill with HYL on one side and LC on the other. I would like to know what it is and what it is for? ## What is this pill for? HYL LC? ## This is a homeopathic product that is available over the counter, it's manufactured by Hyland's and used to treat, or prevent leg cramps. It is available in most vitamin shops. The FDA does warn that it may cause nausea, dizziness, and diarrhea, in some people that take it. Are there any questions I can help with?

solid white pill, almost 1/4" or just slightly higher with defined smooth sides - long oval pill approximately 3/4 inches long....the bottle top has the word Pain on it....can you tell me what this is? ## Hi Julie, Unfortunately, there's really no way to ID a pill without an imprint. All Rx and OTC drugs in the U.S. are required by law to have an imprint; otherwise it could be a vitamin, herbal, energy, diet, foreign or illicit. Since the word "Pain" is written on the bottle top, I can only guess that the pills are some kind of OTC pain medication like Acetaminophen, Excedrin, or Tylenol. Where did you find the pills?

white oval powder pill with line accross center of it ## i have a pill and on both side is a circle with a line going throght it and its on both sides can u tell me what it is? ## Hello, I just want to be clear are there any imprints on either side of the pill? If not then I don't believe anyone here is going to be able to identify the pill with such little information. The problem ultimately comes from the fact that the FDA requires all controlled medication to be identifiable through it's appearance which would include an imprint. Pretty much everything else it can be doesn't require it to have an imprint. This means that you've most likely found something along the lines of a dietary pill, mint, vitamin or a supplement. Sorry this doesn't answer your question but ...

I have two small oval shaped white pills with no markings on one side and a split line on the other side....not sure if markings rubbed off (chalky texture) or if its just a plain pill. Was told it was xanax....?? PLEASE IDENTIFY ## You should never take a pill based on what 'you're told'. What you have would be impossible to know, it sounds like a saccharin. A prescription medicine legally made in this and most other countries have an imprint. ## @Carmella, There's actually an Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) 1,000 mg tablet that closely fits this description. And while I'm not certain who makes it, most vitamin C tablets I've come across have been naturally chalky. Like Eddy said though, it's probably impossible to know what you have (unless you were to get it ana...

I found several of these in a baggie at home hidden in a closet. I have googled it, and even the eclipse breath mints, they aren't multicolor, and have 4 lines instead of the 5 like the mints... I actually licked it and it numbed my tongue. Please help. ## Hello Georgia, First and foremost, I strongly advise you do not lick the pills if you are unsure of what they are. If the pills do not have an imprint that means they are not U.S FDA regulated drugs. This could mean they are anything ranging from mints, vitamins, diet pills to foreign drugs. I was unable to find anything that fit your description, most of the mints or vitamins I found had either 3 or 5 lines on them, perhaps another user will come along who has seen this pill somewhere. The fact that you stated that licking them n...

I am trying to find the name of a prenatal vitamin I took during my first pregnancy. It was a brown oval softgel and I thought it smelled like chocolate (not taste). It may have had an imprint in white but I am not 100% sure. It was expensive, about $1 a pill per month. Hope you can help - thanks!!! ## Hi Martha, Can you possibly recall any sort of logo or details on the product packaging by chance? Since there are so many vitamins on the market (Rx and OTC) it would be near impossible to locate a specific pill based on smell, color, and shape alone. Right now the closest match I'm finding is a chocolate colored brown gel capsule; which happens to be a Prenatal Vitamin Complex with Omega-3. From what I could tell, there's no apparent marking, but without any other details, this ...

I have an oval white pill with the number 31 on one side. Looks like there's an engraving of a dog bone carved on other side. I found this inside of a vitamin C bottle but it's different from vitamin C pills. ## Hey, I found it, wasn't easy, I had to hunt through a bunch of images to find the one that matched. This is Fosomax 70mgs, active ingredient/generic name Alendronate. This is used to reduce calcium loss from your bones and to promote the growth of normal healthy bone tissue. Usually used for people with Osteoarthritis or other conditions, such as Menopause that can put them at risk for bone loss.

I found some white oblong tablets that are blank on both sides and I am trying to figure out what they are. Can anyone help me? ## Can you tell me what a white oval pill blank on both side is ## It is hard to determine what an unmarked tablet contains. Under current FDA law, all manufactured prescription tablets and capsules are required to have a unique imprint to enable their identification. Thus, there are 2 options for an unmarked tablet, it is either an over the counter product, or it is a foreign medication. Do you know anything else about its origin? ## Could you tell me what they are for? ## Mine were zinc; usually blank pills are vitamins but I don’t want to miss speak for yours. To be certain, perhaps your pharmacist may definitely know.
