Why not have your doctor change your script to vicodin? Also, I do all of my refills at CVS. I've been taking Lyrica for 7 years for residual pain resulting from 2 spinal operations. The pain has diminished and I want to stop taking Lyrica. I've tapered down from 75 mg a day to 25 mg a day, but when I try to stop entirely I feel very dizzy and feel that I will black-out. I've tried to taper off very slowly, but I can't tolerate missing even one dose. ## Hi Carrie, Sorry to hear about your trouble with Lyrica. I am in Huntington Beach CA and this situation is out of control regarding filling prescriptions for oxycodone or any other pain pills for that matter. Do authorities not realize that the people IN PAIN simply cannot drive around 'pharmacy shopping' because they are in pain.
