I got uti and severe stomch pain and my gp prescribed me cyclopam tablets for pain and im 3 weeks pregnant.. can I use these tablets? Are there any side effects that can affect my baby? ## Is taking two cyclopam tablets in a day ok for severe cramps n lower back ache during periods

Can I take cyclopam for stomach and urinary pain? I am a kidney transplant patient ## I am aged 64. History of gastric problem from my youth period. Now no diabetic and B.P. problem. Sonogram and CT report reveals prostate enlarged 56 gms. Present problem .1. 2kg weight loss 2. Urgency to urinate 3. Major problem is left Lowe side abdominal pain. i took i tablet colopam last weak but I have GERD problem so I often vomiting ## This medications is most commonly used to treat GI issues, such as irritable bowel syndrome. Nausea and vomiting can be side effects of it, according to the U.S. FDA. You may also experience dizziness and blurred vision. It will not do anything to help with GERD. You need some type of antacid for that. I have given three tea spoon cylopam to my boy as he is crying due to abdominal pain. Now he is talking irrelevant and seems to be disorient.. What to do now. Is there any way to reverse the effect.. cyclopam using really leads to weight gain?? ## Hi Kimmy, From what I could gather, Cyclopam contains the active ingredients Dicyclomine 20mg + Paracetamol 500mg. As far as weight gain is concerned, neither ingredient appears to list that as a possible side effect. However Dicyclomine on the other hand does list "gas or bloating" on the webpage for the US National Library of Medicine. Would you describe your weight gain as a feeling of fullness in the belly? If so, perhaps some digestive enzymes and probiotics may help alleviate those symptoms. Is cyclopam consumption is life threatening ? ## Hi, Shruti! There are two ways that it could potentially be life threatening. The first would be if someone were allergic to one of the ingredients that it contains. And the second would be if someone were to take to much and overdose on it. Any medication has the potential to be toxic if someone exceeds the recommended dosage amounts. Long term usage could also cause problems due to organ damage or failure. I happened to give 10 ML of cyclopam as against 5 ML prescribed to him and that too for 3 times. 2 times yesterday and one dose today. I am very much worried . Pleae advice ## My child is 4.5 years old. His weight is 13.5 kg. Doctor prescribed him 5 ml thrice a day.but By mistake he take 40 ml cyclopam syrup at a time. What can I do? I am a teenager and I am suffering from severe pain during the periods. For me and my child Cyclopam is a life saver. My son suffered severe nausea and vomiting; couldn't retain any liquids or solids. We took him to the doctor who prescribed Cyclopam Syrup. 5ML three times - BAM!!! He recovered the next day back to normal. I have not seen any side effects. I tried it on myself and it worked. Well, certain drugs are meant to be taken with precaution with expectations of side effects. There is no medication without having any side effects. Doctor recommends it because it is needed to your medication condition. If you think too much about the side effects, refrain from taking any medications. hi... i m 18yrs old. I get my periods regularlly. But i hv a problem of abdomne pain.I feel we loose hv headache and got pain from my back abdomen to leg.
