I currently take 20mg of adderall for my adhd. I recently had my aortic valve replaced with a calf valve. My adderall doesn't seem to have the same effects anymore. Could the valve possibly be the reason? ## It's very doubtful! How long have you been taking this dosage? Your body may just have gotten tolerant to it. Are you on any other medications? ## I have been on this dose for at least 2-3yrs. But it just started to "not work" as well. I am currently on a baby aspirin, and toprol xl. When i talked to my dr about the dosage not working for me anymore, she told me i am on the max dose...Which i know is bulls***! Lol
I have been on norspan patches 20mg for 18 months. I have ended up with tinnitus. could you please tell me how to get off norspan ## After 17 months of Norspan use I too concur regard tinnitus and its getting louder. BUT I have had "industrial deafness" for close enough to 30 years anyway and this constant screaming has been so much a part of my life I had all but accepted it. I am finding that the patches are only lasting me 5 days and not 7 as designed. I cannot take pills due to the other meds I must take for the heart valve and diabetes. Its some balancing act trust me. I am tired of it and would dearly like to find a different way to control my arthritic pain. My Doc has prescribed 2 sizes of patches and we are about to try 20ug first and a 5ug some 3 or 4 days later in an ...
My mother was dx in March 2015 with congestive heart failure. She originally had a double heart valve replacement (May 2011) for her mitral and aortic valves. It seemed ever since she was sick (before the endocarditis dx) that her immune system was compromised greatly. My mom was taken to a regular dr appt. August 6th and my dad and her found out coumadin levels were off the charts. They rushed my mom to the hospital 25 miles away and immediately put her on the Medical ICU floor. When they came into her room to start running diagnostics and everything one of the infectious disease doctors told my dad and I that Metformin has been known to cause death. (My mom was still with us at this time, but we found that she was in septic shock and multiple organ failure!) She passed just 24 hours a...

Filed under StrokeI take 2mg of Coumadin every day and will be for the rest of my life because I have a mechanical aortic valve that I got in 2013. No issues at all with the Coumadin other than I was recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis. Called to make an appointment with my rheumatologist and he wouldn’t even see me, stating there was nothing available for managing my osteoarthritis that I could take with Coumadin. I’m 61 years old and don’t plan on retiring any time soon. Other than swelling and pain in some of my joints I feel great and can work hard as ever. That’s the only thing that slows me down. My family doc said to take Tylenol which does nothing for me. I’m considering CBD but can’t find enough information on if it’s safe to take that with Coumadin o...

What is the role of libotryp in treating frozen shoulder and what are its side effects? ## I am suffering from a mild mitral valve problem and am taking acitrom 1mg, pentids 800 and atocor 10 mg since i have to visit a spine doctor for a back problem. The Dr. gave me clopitab A, cobix 200 and nexito. l'm on 1 day & had some imbalance issues after taking additional medicine. Please advise. I also have some tingling on my eyes and lips sometimes. ## Libotryp contains Amitriptyline and Chlordiazepoxide, it is actually an antidepressant, but some medication in this class can help with some types of nerve pain. Do you know what has caused the frozen shoulder? If it is from an injury that needs to heal, this will probably not help much. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsin...
I underwent Aeotic valve replacement in April 2006. After 6 months Dr. prescribed 3 tablets viz. Amalong 5mg, Ecosprin 150 mg, and Storvas 10mg. There was no problem upto 2013 December. For the past one and half years I developed Prostate condition (urine passes slowly), of course my creatinine is 1.1. Dr.says that deposits in the urine bladder may be a reason. I just want to know whether any side effect is possible because of the above medicines. I am 67 now. ## It is doubtful, such medications usually cause increased urination and, occasionally, kidney stones, according to the NIH. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, and joint/muscle aches. Are you taking anything to help with your prostate issue?
Have 46 BPM at rest; now cut 25mg Metoprolo tablet in half to lower dose as prescribed by cardio doc. had ascending aortic aneurysm repair, and aortic valve replaced (bovine) in 2003. What is going on here? I do exercise quite regularly, but 46 kinds of has me concerned, even though I am still able to exercise. Any answers, thanks. ## Well, there is really no way for anyone to say what's going on from just the limited information in your post. There are several issues that could cause this and only your doctor is going to be able to help you get to the root of the problem. The Metoprolol might be working too well and making your heart beat to slowly. I've had that happen with several medications myself. How long have you been on the lowered dosage? Has there been any improvement?
This medicine has been prescribed as one of the three drugs namely Amifru and Tryka from PGIMER,Chandigarh for my heart disease in which i am suffering from heart valve dysfuntion and symptoms like anxiety( Ghabrahat) and breathlessness. Kindly, explain me the indications and side effects of all these drugs. ## Hi Aman, I will give you descriptions for Pregabalin, Amifru (Amiloride and Furosemide), and Tarka- I hope those are the drugs you seeking information about. I have a small prolapse of the valve in the left chamber of my heart and it is very uncomfortable with an extra sistole. I am on Hexarone 100mg in the morning and 50mg evening. My blood pressure stays at 147/80 and sometimes even higher. After the 9th tablet the docter tried I am now on Irbewin 150 one morning, one evening. Still the upper reading doesn't come down. Is there perhaps a solution? I am very worried, please help. First appointment with physician 15 Januarie 2014. ## Hello, Anita! How are you? No, that's not something that's listed in any of the side effects that I can find. What about trying a combination of medications to lower your blood pressure? That is what is often done in the U.S. and Canada when someone has resistant hypertension. The doctors usually com...
VANOS is a variable valve timing system used by BMW on various automotive petrol engines since 1992. The name is an abbreviation of the German words for variable camshaft timing: variable nockenwellensteuerung. The initial version (retrospectively renamed "single VANOS") was solely used on the intake camshaft, while the later "double VANOS" systems are used on intake and exhaust camshafts. Since 2001, VANOS is often used in conjunction with the valvetronic variable valve lift system. Content...
