Hi there. I just want to know if it's safe to take topzole 40 with (statin) storwin 10mg and ecotrin as well as puricos 300mg (for gout)? I have been feeling much weakness from my hips to my legs as well as dizziness. I am 43 years old. ## Have they all been prescribed for you? Puricos contains Allopurinol, it is most commonly used to treat gout and kidney stones, Topzole contains Pantoprazole and it is used to help reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach, Ecotrin contains Aspirin and is frequently used to heart health and blood thinning, Storwin contains Rosuvastatin and is used to help lower cholesterol. I have been using allopurin for about 12 months now as a gout relief treatment. I have noted that I have been getting outbreaks of rashes - brownish red spots, slightly raised which develop into dry, flaky skins patches - concentrated around the lower back, and upper buttock. This has become concerning now as they have now spread to the legs as well as under the arms. My wife says it is the Puricos (allopurin) and thinks I must discontinue. Any comment or view ## Have you consulted your doctor? It is rare, but Allopurinol can cause a rash, in some people and, when it does, they usually do have to discontinue use of it. Yes, the FDA does list that as being among its possible side effects, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.
