I may be wrong, could you tell me if i need to purchase a pelvic toner device? I am 60yrs old. ## Hello, Susie! How are you? According to the NIH, there can be many reasons for frequent urination, including age, medications, various medical conditions, caffeine and increased fluid intake. I have had Hemms since I was in my twenty. But they use to come and go especially when I strained. But now they are always out (prolapsed and bleed from time to time. Is there anything that can be done short of surgery? ## Hello, Chuckybaby! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. There are some topical products that may shrink them, some available over the counter and some via prescription from your doctor. There is also a rubber banding procedure that can be used for some, it's less invasive than surgery. Have you had them checked out by your doctor, yet? ## Hi Verwon. Yes but he keeps pushing them back in and a few days or weeks later back to the same thing. I told him surgery is out of the question. So now I'm increasing my fiber intake and using ...

can seroquil be a cause of mitral valve prolapse ## Hi Monica, While I haven't found any information relating Seroquel (Quetiapine) to Mitral valve prolapse, I did find "fast or irregular heartbeat" to be a severe side effect associated with this medication. I do wonder though if this side effect, in and of itself, can eventually lead to Mitral valve prolapse? If you're experiencing any unusual or disabling side effects by taking Seroquel, then I would recommend asking your doctor about switching medications or opting for a more natural alternative to the drug. You may also want to take a look at Seroquel's list of side effects, for reference: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0001030/#a698019-sideEffects I hope this helps! ## Can you take seroqel with a prolapsed hea...

I have MVP and take propanolol and was recently prescribed meloxicam for arthritis. Is it okay to take the meloxicam with having mitral valve prolapse? ## Hi debbie, Based on my research, Meloxicam is contraindicated for the treatment of peri-operative pain in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. I haven't found anything specifically relating to MVP in that regard. But one review I've come across from another MVP patient (who happened to be taking Meloxicam), mentioned that their heart was acting strange on this medication and they had to switch to another muscle relaxer. Although it is important to understand that these medications can effect each person differently, so unfortunately the only way to know for sure how it effects you, is to go by trial and ...

I'm trying to help a friend in a third world country who has limited access to medical facilities. He is a 30 year old male with history of internal prolapsed hemorrhoids that he has had to put up with for years because he couldn't afford to pay for treatment. Recently he accessed a temporarily available visiting surgical service and had one large prolapsed hemorrhoid removed by ligation and a few weeks later several smaller ones removed by "scraping out" the rectum (as the surgeon put it). The patient now has prolapsed rectal lining (bright red membrane) that protrudes after every bowel movement which requires a trip to the clinic to have a nurse push it back in again. The visiting surgeon has now left town. It appears the hemorrhoid procedures (the second one of which ...
