Are Ibuprofen 800mg (IP 466) tabs, made by Amneal Pharmaceuticals, prescription only, or can they be bought over-the-counter? I've had several disc herniations for almost 20yrs.Tired of the stigma associated with pain meds, I went off the stronger meds (such as Oxycontin) approximately 2 yrs ago. I have severe arthritis in my neck and a herniated L4 and L5 disc for which I am taking 20 mg of oxycodone.
